Whitby Folk Week is a long-standing celebration of the traditional music, dance and song of the British Isles has taken on the trappings of a tradition in its own right. With over 600 events covering workshops, concerts, singarounds, dances, sessions, street entertainment and the extensive 'fringe' events that blossom spontaneously. The event has moved in the festival calendar to now take place from Thursday 16th to Wednesday 22nd August 2014.

Tickets are priced at £158 for a full adult season ticket (£198 with camping). Senior/Student tickets are priced at £123 (£153 with camping), and junior tickets for 11 to 16 year olds (under 11s admitted free with ticket holders at most general events but must pay a nominal charge at children's events) are priced at £78 (£98 with camping).

Day tickets are also available.

Camping

The Festival sets up a temporary campsite each year for festival season ticket holders. The temporary campsite will be in operation for the week of the Whitby Folk Week at Airy Hill School, Waterstead Lane, in Whitby.It is a basic site on a school playing field, but water, showers and toilet facilities are available.

Please note that dogs will not be allowed on the campsite.
