The Wirral Folk on the Coast Festival takes place this year, over 4 days, from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th June at the OC Sports and Leisure Club site in Bridle Rd, Bromborough, Wirral

There are 5 concerts taking place in the main concert hall - Knockaloe Suite (Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, Sunday afternoon and evening) and a free concert will also take place in the upstairs lecture room on Saturday evening.

Line-up

Friday: Scolds Bridle, Chris Moreton, Tri, Dave Burland, Martyn Joseph.
Saturday (Afternoon): Chris Moreton, David Ferrard, Chill Until Blue, New Rope String Band.
Saturday (Evening): Cathryn Craig & Brian Willoughby, Bernard Wrigley, Clive Gregson, Celtish.
Sunday (Afternoon): Muldoon's Picnic, Robin Laing, Garva, Chris While & Joe Broughton.
Sunday (Evening): Jamie Landsborough, Graham Bellinger & The Deportees, The Houghton Weavers.

Main stage acts also include Anthony John Clarke, Jamie Landsborough, Tri, Alison Parker & the Third Man, and Vocal Point.

Tickets

All options do not include camping. An adult full weekend ticket (if purchased before 1st March 2010) is priced at £53 (full price £59-00) (No concessions).

An adult mini weekend ticket (no access to main stage concerts) is priced at £20, a child (13 to 17yrs) mini weekend ticket is priced at £10. Children under 13 can attend for free.

Main stage only concert tickets are priced at £16 for adults, and £11 for children (aged 13 to 17yrs) under 13yrs have free entry.

On site

Festival goers will also be able to enjoy 4 Ceilidhs, dance displays and workshops, a craft fair, free concerts, instrument workshops, 'Chance To Meet', rolling folk club sessions, story-telling, and large fringe activities. The O.C Sports and Leisure Club site has a campsite, showers, toilets, food available all day, and a bar and restaurant with real ale available on the 9 acre site.

Camping

The campsite is expected to open on 4th June and has toilets, and showers. Weekend camping is priced per person at £10 for adults, £5 for children 13 to 17yrs and under 13s can camp for free.
