I woke up this morning and turned on a tap, to have only a trickle of water come out - luckily enough for the kettle. When I went to the shop over the road, I discovered that a main has burst nearby, and this whole area is without water.
It's not like I can't cope without water - I bought a litre of bottled for brewing up, but it's bugging me that I can't flush the loo, do the washing up or put some clothes washing on, even tho I know that there's guys out there working to sort the problem an
To be honest, i've been meaning to update this thing for ages, but I couldn't remember how. Well finally that alignment of stoned and bored has occured, and here I am.
First things to begin with, went to see Califone a few days ago. OMG, f**king brilliant!! The pathtic thing was that there were only 60 to 70 of us there. 10 minutes brfore the band came on counted 15 in the room. As far as I know, this is the first time that Tim Ruiti has properly come over here to do his thang, and the turn ou
I've been doing some thinking about Metallica, following on from a thread on here - and wondered when it was exactly they became the monster they are, from the great band they used to be. I think everyone can pretty much agree that there best output was during the Burton-era of the band - something that is certainly backed up by the number of tracks they play from say their first three albums as compared to those recorded after their death.
So when was it that they became a mainstream attra
Ahhh things are never easy are they? Not only do Liverpool play Everton (3-0 last time! ) at midday but Z and I have an archery competition at 2pm on the Sunday!!!! So as it stands with the journey taking 3.5 hours we leave early on Saturday to get there and sunday to get back! What a pain - worsened by the factit's my mate's birthday on the Friday too! Accckk!
This fixture congestion is nothing compared to the sixth round of the FA Cup whch falls on the 17th Feb - arrrggghhhh! We have an ani
Rome was wonderful... however coming home to a mountain of work was not quite so pleasant....
but my really gripe for today was the comments made by a stupid cow who i work with... this morning i was only the early shift and had forgotten to change the sheets as had my two collegues... cow from lack of social skills hell comes in... looks at me and one of my male collegues and says "have you changed the sheets?" to which reply no but we will do it in a minute.. she then turns to me and says T
Im starting to come out of hibernation - and looking forward to it getting warmer. I cant wait to sort my festivals out - im supposed to be organising a trip for the 3 of us over to USA but it really doesnt fill me with excitment like the other trips do. My brother in law moved over there last year and with no sign of them coming back over here its down to us to get there. So Trudi can see her cousins, uncle, aunt - I am also going to let her see the big eared mouse (as that would have been the
off to Rome for the weekend this afternoon ... can't wait going out last night was not such a good idea though... especially not as i have done no packing .. have no euros and generally feel like a pig has pooped in my head
oppsieee just realised my printer has no ink.... this is not good and after having a bath i can't hear out of my left ear.... i think this trip may be cursed
Well Z has started her week of performances, and judging by here quick recap over a huried breakfast it sounds fantastic.
Seems one of the performers (they range in age from 11 to 13) got a bit worried she was tired and not up for her part enough. So she decided best to pep herself up and drank seven(!) cans of RedBull just before the start of the performance. She raced on stage delirious said her words at pace, fizzed around, did a spin and promptly collapsed. Cue curtain falls, paramedics a
eFestivals has been moved to a new server, to help ensure that on the busiest days everything will still cope. Fingers crossed that the new configurations works as well as hoped for.
Ollie's Green and White Barmy Army are on telly tonight - so I'm looking forward to seeing some of our new players fielded for the first time as hopefully we crush coventry live on Sky tonight. Plymouth have Barnet away in the next round of the FA Cup too. Someone they should overcome with hopefully a home (or away) draw against some Premierhip opposition awaiting us in Round5 - our table position doesn't belie our performance. Despite the scoreline against Birmingham - which was a terrific matc
sinse i wrote anything!

"Flying with the Wolves"
It started as a mad cap idea, but now it really looks as if it's happening – a group of Cardiff City fans will literally be taking to the air on Saturday, January 20th 2006 to show support to their team in their Championship match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
As is well known now, Wolves' Board, on the advice of the West Midlands Police, are banning all Cardiff fans from attending the match on January 20th due to "a history of past violence at the fixture".

What is Neuropathy?
Peripheral Neuropathy, also known as Peripheral Nerve Disease, is one of the most common diseases most people have never heard of (15-20 million Americans have peripheral nerve disease). Caused by deterioration of the peripheral nerves, neuropathy disrupts the body’s ability to communicate with its muscles, organs and tissues. Neuropathy is like the body’s wiring system going haywire, causing unusual or unpleasant irritations incl
First off it's definitely not what my dad had! Result! As it's not the neurones which are effected.
Secondly i have synaptic damage - he said to think of it like copper wiring running through the body carrying the signals - well it's stripped - this is most likely caused by alcohol or prescription drugs - but countered I - i've never been prescribed prescription drugs - to which he gave me a hard stare. Doctors know too much!
Thirdly i need to have more tests as the upper body problems i h
finish a 12 hour night shift and set off on my merry way home... train to willesden junction is fine... all is good with the world... wait for connecting train to richmond... ok first one cancelled next one will turn up... still moderatly cheerful.........
but oh no, after waiting over half an hour for the damn train they announce that the line is suspended... this is followed by the useful suggestion of getting a train the clapham junction then a train to richmond followed finally by a train
Well here goes with my 1st blog entry.
Haven’t posted much recently because I’ve been having loads of hassle with my internet. BT Yahoo are a bunch of inept w*nkers. 2 months of constant breaks in connection, download speeds similar to 512k dial up when I’m meant to be on 6.5meg & their lack of response to numerous emails ended in me cancelling my direct debit to try and speed them up. Result – an invoice telling me to pay up the rest of my contract by today. Don’t know if there is an ‘or
after today bar work is looking like a promising alternative career...
off out with my bestest friend tonight to drown my sorrows... hopefully will improve my mood
although tonight i will not be having any shooters... i am promising myself... fingers crossed i can stick to it
Well today's been terrific - not!
First off we've had to pull the plug on ATP and seeing The Dirty Three, Grinderman, Low and Nick Cave cos it's too expensive! So i am gutted.... but it gets worse...
Tomorrow the beer festival starts, however Kaz's boss and friend is leaving so the plan was to go the Impy where they let kids in and they do real ale and have a good send off. However they've moved it to a more expensive pub, with naff real ale and no kids policy. so looks like I'm home babys
It comes to something when you are too busy to even update your blog. I will try to put together a large post of some description soon. A quick recap. Off to the hospital today about my sinuses, hopefully nothing serious will turn up. Last year my doctor told me to cut out drinking, I chose not to listen to him, the same trouble I had last year due to the drinking is back. Outside of that all is good in the hood.
work was actually REALLY good today, i normally enjoy it but today was just a bit more. Everyone seemed to be getting on and having a joke and stuff. which is awesome! I just need to work my balls off trying to save for my new car now.... eek... Im considering making this years trip to Glasto my current cars last journey.... which would be an awesome send off
Im getting a bit too excited about Glasto now.. hehe!!
I have officially been trying to give up smoking for about 6 days now. i didnt buy a pack for 5 of those days and have cut down from near 10 a day (at max) to like 2 or 3, which I am proud of. I didnt turn into a wreck either like a few of my friends!!
Plus, nicorette is horrible horrible stuff!
