I ventured out on Friday, to a local pub with a mate and his wife, and what started out as a quiet drink turned into sambuca and no memory of getting home. Saturday was recovering and although it was slow and long, it was a recovery.

We have a man coming today to sand and varnish the floor, yesterday we had to get the sofa out of the living room and it took 2 hours, a spanner and the removal of the arms, excessive cursing and damning DFS to the heavens. Eventually we got it out and sold it to a friend of lisas, we do have another sofa coming, possibly this week.

Went to a kids birthday party yesterday, I can almost tolerate a house full of 2-14 year olds for the food of the gods that is kids party food, namely egg mayonnaise sandwiches and mini cheese and onion rolls, you may not know though but I have an intolerance or something to bread but I dont mind sacrificing my health for those little white triangles.

That was my weekend, not at all rock n roll, oh we went to Worcester to see new niece and that was alright, my sister had done me a country music cd which I need to rip and put on my ipod.
