woke up this morning - good this isnt it??
Yep we ventured to Fruitstock by car - on my say so - nightmare traffic left at 2 got to Regents park at about 5 but it was great when we got there - very busy thou. Mother in law enjoyed her first 'festival' all the sights and sounds. She says she wishes she was 40 years younger - indicating to me that she thinks you have to be teens early twenties only. But shes wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.
Darrens cousin was over from Canada too so he came along - dont think it was his thing but Trudi enjoyed having him there - Shes gonna be trouble when she gets bigger i think
We had a nice meal out after too in Camden which we wouldnt have done if it had been just us.
Back to fruit stock - my mission is to report on the kid parts of festivals as I am intrigued by it all and have to say Fruitstock rocked for kids competitions galore, free crafts and when you finished your colouring free yo yo & Sunflower seeds - After Treasure hunt free smoothies were handed out (so there were some free smoothies!) lots of the usual circus stuff small tightrope walk too! Small slide, Trampolines and - As usual paying stuff too about £2 a go BUT the rides went on forever so... cant complain too much Diddnt get to see what went on earlier in the day (as we werent there) but what I did see was good.
If you diddnt go Yesterday go Today - nice
