So far, it seems to be a banner for their Justin Timberlake and Olly Murs gigs. But there is a vacant spot in-between them and grouping these events together as a festival means we can assume said open date will be filled up soon enough. -
Emily Eavis to send via carrier pigeon (one with white flecs on its wings) a note to the Guardian press office (well the pigeon actually ends up in the break out area but the message gets though) a note. That reads Nova Twins to play Woodsies at 6PM on Friday 27th of June. the pigeon leaves Pilton, stops to poo on a freshly washed Subaru in Newbury (not strictly on route) before arriving at the Guardian on the 4th January 2025. They print the following day. The pigeon is fed some seeds - its a good day. Just a guess! -

Not necessarily, and he is a noted troll. But he also wouldn't likely keep it a close secret if the ink is dry on the paper. Then again, he may do. -
Didn't use any bots but by mobilising friends and family and every device I could lay my hand on, managed 1 golden session out of around 50 or 60. I work in systems development and did contemplate introducing some automation to increase the scale but felt it wasn't right or necessary to do so. The scale required to be able to guarantee tickets must be at least 10 times that. I think Queue it handles the gateway to the ticket site far better than the old method of everyone just hammering requests but the fact that it's the industry standard method now is a big problem because commercial interests far bigger than the Glasto eco system are invested in cracking it and it means the Glasto system is vulnerable to them in a way it wasn't previously. I do think there is a distinction between manual and automated methods fundamentally, so I'm not sure there is equivalence between ticket syndicates and bot farms. Bot farms look like an attack on the system, overwhelmingly tilting the odds towards them in a way that humans couldn't replicate.
