  2. You're in for a treat lads, get you fingers hovered over the pause button as you scrutinise Tom McMeakins excellent video as he flew over the site yesterday in a Paraglider. The following video and images my not be used commercially, all credit to Tom McMeakin A few hi-res caps to follow edited to add link - doh https://www.msn.com/en-gb/travel/news/high-flying-view-sees-glastonbury-festival-taking-shape/vi-BB1mlSku

  3. I am getting more info all the time for the Clashfinder and will keep updating it - I changed a lot early yesterday morning after getting some info. This year I am arriving Wednesday so the last updates will be done either last thing Tuesday night or early Weds am before we leave. If I get anything after that it will not be added cos I am offline as soon as I arrive.............................. As always, buy the programme anyway - I do and even did last year despite knowing what I had on the clashfinder was 100% correct. https://clashfinder.com/s/beardedtheory2024

  8. Another walking advocate here. I realise it's not an answer that suits everyone, but having a dog is a great incentive to get out and hike. I'm lucky enough that it fits with my family/lifestyle and I live in beautiful countryside. That said, I'm still overweight (I blame my lack of will power when it comes to beer, crisps and pizza). Also started running again 2 weeks ago after over a decade off. 5th run today, up from 1.8 miles in 21 mins to 3 miles in 29 mins. In percentage terms, I'm staggered with the improvement. If I can get round a 10k in and hour or less before Glasto I'll be delighted.

  13. Hi all, I posted in the comp thread but realised a lot may not see it so thought I’d start a new thread. I have the chance to dance onstage this year at the festival for the flash mob and I’d love all your support to get me there! I’ve been dancing since I was 3 and it would be a complete dream come true to perform at my favourite place in the world. If you have Instagram please like this post and comment with number 3 and my name πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ https://www.instagram.com/p/C66xX70twzl/?igsh=dnBvcHZmcWUybm4x Thanks all! 14. The only unusual thing I packed last year was a cuddly toy dragon from my kids so that I could take it around the festival and put it places, take a photo and send pics to my kids (2 and 4). They love playing spot the dragon and getting the updates of what I'm up to.

  16. Hahaha holy sh*t this clip is hilarious. The guy says it'll be today and one of the co-hosts immediately visibly winces and says "UHH ARE YOU SURE ITS TODAY?" and the other one starts pretending today could also mean tomorrow or this week or next week. Man definitely revealed info he wasn't supposed to. This combined with their silence across socials today and them apparently tweaking the line-up page points to it being 99.9% ready with one annoying act or stage or something holding them up that they're desperately trying to sort.

  19. Just given the new album a spin whilst on a run. I like it, but it's music for a Scandi-Noir serial killer box set, not a Pyramid performance. Would go over much, much better in a pitch dark tent at midnight.

  20. This. Every year I see loads of stuff I'd like to see, but every year I remind myself there's not much point in trying. GET A BIGGER TENT.

  25. I think I must be the only person who just can't get on board with the Fish Octagon guy. I love his obvious passion for the music but just find him a little odd. I suppose that's part of his charm. It's my problem, not his, of course. All power to him and his deserved success.

  29. It's not that hard. You have timeslots, you fill the timeslots. You have more than a year to organise 150 names and the days were already determined more than 6 months ago!

  31. +1 for TapHouse recommendation if you like Indie music. So much fun. Been there until at least 1:30/2 and not showing signs of closing when we left - vibe is dancing on tables and Indie anthems

  34. I see what you mean but it's not been published or announced by the festival. If they put it on their socials they'd be gone in minutes. You'd also probably get pissed off people with B&W tickets though!

  36. Solid advice again @stuie much appreciated. I've hopefully got a few options to offload the B&W ticket (still open for offers on here though! πŸ˜€) Until the resale I wasn't going, so much as I'd love to pass on the B&W for even a considerable loss or in lieu of a donation to charity, I'm just happy I'm in the gates! Pinching myself daily! Thanks for the help mate

  41. No worries! You can get a refund on CV tickets but I think the deadline is beginning of May. If the deadline has passed, I think you’ll have to resign to selling your B&W off cheap to recoup some losses as they probably won’t sell out I’m afraid. ps. I do actually wear a cape sometimes! πŸ˜‚

  44. Yep, it will start outside the mess tent around 6pm with the aim to leave by 6:30 going to 4/5 different crew bars around the festival and then finish up at the stone circle. Apparently, erm, lookout for the sheep umbrella and a guy pink shorts.
