Can see it a bit more with Swifty . Her fans are bonkers but I’d suggest Madonna ones not quite so much … and to get value then they be better off attending 5 days . Also you can get concert tickets for less than the price of the full festival ticket

Whilst I agree mostly it’ll put some off that aren’t keen on a poppy style headline lineup . It’s still a 5 day camping festival and that’s not for everyone

Well I presume now the early October date has been consigned to the history books … but it does squeeze them time wise as I’m sure we’ve had announcements by now in the past .

Really messes them up with headliner announcements having sale delayed … if the headliner talk becomes mainstream what do they do ? Stated on headliner thread Emily has said they won’t announce these before ticket sale but they might well have too

A big issue with the ticket sale balls up … they don’t confirm the headliners before the sale and Emily’s stated this . However if the news gets out and becomes too strong what do they do ? Or are the daily fail getting info from sites like this ? I’m not clicking link

Answer is it contains an email address .... they posted the same thing earlier they are legit as I looked them up but was waiting for Iggy to approve their post . it's a feature setup to prevent spam

Do acts have to play the pyramid to make it contemporary then ? Or could the festival still be contemporary with them playing one of the many other stages ?

They are …. It’s pointless sticking a small act on a massive stage like pyramid . Career ending rather than career building if nobody watched them

don't think they recycled them back then ..... they definitely make efforts to now although im sure they must lose a fair chunk at many stadiums, also the buckets were getting filled on the exits

well I guess they have them already and recycle them ..... the collection would be a little more difficult but still possible

and despite the comments and the ultra knowledge of people on here , the festival shifts the tickets because of the BBC coverage of the massive acts . Madonna will pack the pyramid .... she might have a touch smaller numbers than Elton , Macca and the stones but will be top 4 headliner attendance wise since the superfence , the festival age skews older anyway and the Pyramid has had some superb sets from older artists of late

I suspect they will have similar next year if they play
