From what I heard you didn’t need any passes to walk into Emily’s garden this year !! When a couple of security were on and they had no idea what passes were needed for access and required some help for a bit

I haven’t the foggiest … but think it might be a decent time to lock the topic … @Neil my dms are open if said person wishes to discuss this further ( they won’t ) because there is nothing that I’ve ever done that can be considered an issue … maybe a few too many posts during the hardest days of covid while shut away in my flat for 6 months … who knows tbh ?

The lockups can also work by recommendation or by knowing the right person … they are usually fully subscribed but do run a waiting list for people that want to join them … I was on it for last year … I’d had several conversations at the previous festival with a lady who runs one / several of them .

I think it’s worth understanding that Glastonbury is likely to be a late adopter in terms of most things site wide … that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t try things On a smaller scale though … I’m suprised that the cups aren’t reused on a bigger scale now … this year trialled compostable crisp packets and electric powered site cars for transporting vips onsite
