    The medical centre at Park is just a minor injuries unit with the more serious cases going up to the main first aid centre at the top of the site so nothing to worry about there.

  7. More excited about Glasto this year than I have ever been before! Am I alone in this?

    This is my 11th festival now and I worked at the Olympics last year and I have never been so excited about anything as much as this year.

    Its been 2 long years without the freedom of the festival and its not only my honeymoon but my wife to be`s first glasto. Also 2 of my all time favourite acts The Stones and Chic are playing. I am driving all my work mates, Facebook friends and family all mad with my daily count down, I really cant wait!!!

    They're booked to headline West Holts next year already.

    (this might be a porkie :P).

    I bumped into the West Holts booker about a month back, and he told me that as efestivals was so good at getting the glasto acts in advance perhaps I could tell him who he'd booked for next year, so that he could take the next year off.

    So I passed him a list of: Stephen Marley; David Byrne; & Earth Wind and Fire.

    You heard it here first. :lol:

    one superb festival purchase, you will see this recommended here a lot but I will re-iterate, is the 3 Litre bag in box Westons Wyld Wood Cider. It used to be called "Organic Vintage" but its the same thing.

    If you see it for under £6 its a great price, if its down to £5 buy as many as you can. Proper flat cider and its 7%. probably one of the best festival alcohol choices out there if you have a trolley to carry them.

    We are lucky to be going on the Monday this year but the Sunday we are running the Torbay half marathon for Brain Tumor research so will probably spend most of the eve in a hot bath!

    Can't wait to see him for the first time. Missed him at the Green Man a few years ago so he is one of my must sees for the weekend followed by the mighty Chic!

    I went to the farm 4 weeks ago, just before my father passed away, and was blubbering under the shell of the pyramid stage knowing the next time i will be here, he will be with me in spirit listening to the stones, his favourite band.
