Unsure how it will play out regarding tours. Guess we'll soon see. But he must have had to out himself before someone done it for him. It certainly taints his 'nicest guy in rock' title. Or, he was too nice in some cases it seems. When do Pinkpop normally make their first announcement? This is our first time coming - if we make it.

I have been waiting on you starting this haha 😊 I am keeping an eye again for 2025. Not just for the festival, I feel I have so much more of Göteborg, and Sweden, to see. But I liked the festival size after doing a larger early summer festival. I am excited for some more concrete 2025 news!

I find it hard to settle on three. I've got Biffy and Pearl Jam so far. I also have undercard ideas that I'd like too. I must admit, all the OATW chat made me go look them up (I'm not 'with it' these days it seems). I don't think I had registered their existence. I would likely go see something else if they were on though - like A Perfect Circle, NIN or Alice in Chains as someone further up suggested!

I will keep a watch for updates. I enjoyed the smaller scale of this one in terms of audience size - although there were busy areas/moments. It was a nice end to the summer, and the last warm sunshine I have seen ha. So it now holds that summer nostalgia moment for me. There are a few potential festivals on my list for next year already, but this is up there! So many festivals...so little time (and of course money 😄).

I got another email from WOW today and it made me think about buying the early tickets for 2025. Does anyone know how long the early ones are usually on sale for? I definitely have the post-festival blues

That's us back home after a fab weekend in Göteborg. Really liked the festival although some areas were super busy. Couldn't see Nation of Language as it was packed, but just stood with a beer and listened from the wee bar. Thought PJ Harvey was excellent and got a really good spot to see Jack White. Pulp were great the next night too - although they were rightly ragin at being kept from starting on time. Saw English Teacher and Yard Act at Pustervik but that was the only Stay Out West we managed to see. It was good being able to walk to the festival site from our hotel. Though I'd maybe choose a hotel that serves a good margarita next time because ours didn't and I'd been put in the mood for one here haha. Got some great weather too which was awesome. I'm very tempted to come back again next year!

Have they released the map anywhere? I can't see it on the app. Was just hoping to get an idea of the layout. Rain jackets are all packed here and we're ready to set off tomorrow. Weather looking much like it is here at home according to the forecast. At least I won't need to worry about packing sun cream into my jacket I guess 🙂

It would be nice to hear your thoughts on it after you return, if you don't mind sharing 🙂

I think I'm going to try add some films to my schedule also. Quite fancy the Mogwai doc - they're from my city so feel like I should go watch it before heading into the main festival. The Substance sounds very good too! Been listening to Jack White's new album - I'm really happy they managed to secure him as a replacement for QOTSA. I see other festivals weren't so lucky. Looking forward to seeing him.

Thanks for updating us on here. I wonder when they will announce! Exciting. I'm currently looking at the weather - I fear I will need a rain jacket with big enough pockets (because of the absolute no bag rule!) and perhaps some sun cream?? My pale Scottish skin doesn't need much sun to require SPF50 😄
