  1. Ironically we’re probably more justified paying £100 to see up and coming artists than has been old duffers who are probably reasonably financially comfortable. Newish acts would then be able to develop their craft without having to worry about cash

  3. The Shambala drone show was brilliant
  4. The thing most likely to actually seriously disrupt food supply is climate change.
  5. Breaking the same laws as JSO, ER etc. Let’s see what doesn’t happen.
  6. I'm really sorry about this issue guys. We're trying to resolve it as quickly as possible but sadly it's very difficult to track these down. They're most prevalent in the evenings when there's less competition for ad impressions so they're more likely to win. Those seeing this issue over the past couple of days, we'd really appreciate it if you could please share which device and browser you're using? Also, if you're on Wi-Fi or mobile data, that would be useful too. Please feel free to pm me those details if you don't want to share them publicly. We're working on a number of ways to stop these entirely, but it's always a bit of a cat & mouse game sadly. Apologies to those affected and thank you for your help! From the Website wish list and problems thread
  7. Everton always manage to turn the Goodison derby into a complete farce.
  8. Canvas is cool, esp white canvas, but downside of that colour is it’s not dark. I can easily put up my bell tent on my own in about 15 minutes
  9. Canvas all the way. Looked after properly will comfortably outlast a fresh and black. Very likely to be cheaper when of a comparable size. Look far better. I have a Soul Pad bell tent which is around 15 years old and still in very good nick. Only been waterproofed once and is still good. Only downside with canvas is drying them after a wet festival
  10. Bob Vylan are magnificent live, one of the most punk bands ever

Consumer pressure is the only way. Stop buying the tickets.
  13. So Trumps “amazing” 🤔 plan to bring peace and stability to the Middle East is likely to have the opposite effect Who’d have thought it
  14. A serious contender for the best Glastonbury performance ever. It’s impossible to express how stunningly brilliant this was. Not only in the energy, musicianship, stage presence, emotion etc, but also the messages delivered. It was none stop relentless passion.
  15. Yeah they were exceptional, as were the audience. A lovely Glastonbury experience, which perfectly set me up for the post midnight dancing
  16. Yeah another disappointment. I stumbled across NOW somewhere in what’s now Shangri La in the early hours sometime ago. Much better show
  17. Estelle W.H. (may still have been Jazz/Jazz World). Was on my way to Sinead O’Connor on Avalon. Never made past W.H. Brilliant The Comet is Coming The Park. The description of this lot always put me off, but so many recommendations tempted me. Brilliant Snoop Dog The Pyramid Knew a bit of his catalogue and generally liked it, but not a massive fan. Went out of curiosity, “Snoop in the afternoon on The Pyramid! Really?” Well at least it’ll be a laugh. Brilliant
  18. Trump sees a real estate opportunity, his specialty, that’s all.
  19. Emboldened by a second term. Small thing, but a good illustration of how insane he is - getting rid of the ban on plastic straws
