  1. Question? What did everyone think about the drink prices? £7.20 for a 440ml can of Madri. £3-3.50 a can of coke/lemonade. do we all think the prices were fair, it’s a festival, we expect to pay that or do we think it was taking the p@ss? for context here an article about Glasto beer prices. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13571025/amp/glastonbury-festival-2024-bar-prices-beer-wine.html
  2. I definitely agree with people from Victorious looking at these posts….didn’t someone from Victorious contact someone to take a post down (when McFly was announced early by mistake?) I agree, with spacing out the headliners, as the amount of time I had to bail earlier as the kids are so tired and cold.
  3. Whoever it maybe, I hope they have some fun with announcements this/next year. if they drop clues leading up to the reveals, get everyone talking about the clues, for a few weeks. i find they drop the announcement then it goes quiet until the next announcement x
  4. My vote is for Lana del Ray! Not a hope in getting her, far too big for Victorious but my daughter would be over the moon if Lana was announced.
  5. As soon as the line up was I knew this year wasn’t going to be a good one (music wise for me) However I’m a local, always buy the weekend early bird on first release. So did things a little differently this year, had later starts, an early finish and ate in Palmerston Road. Which made things a lot cheaper! And caught the few bits I wanted to see. generally everything was done really well. Although we all have gripes about things…..main one for my friends was cans, we missed the good ole pint (unless you went to Acoustic stage or Thatchers) another one was the d-day car park felt a bit like dead space, think I was expecting more toilets when I heard it was just going to be loo’s) Was happy the comedy tent got the outside screen! Well done Victorious, very much needed after people fainted due to overcrowding. Roll on 2025!
  6. I actually feel a little disappointed this year…..is it only me! Don’t get me wrong, the acts we saw have been amazing but…… Every year I have said the comedy tent is far too small, and they need a stage with screens, and this year two people needed medical attention due to overcrowding in the tent leading to Russel Howard cutting short his set out of respect (good on him, but it was going to happen at some point) The atmosphere seemed dodgy, we sat a watched so many people kicking off. and cans at the bars 😭
  7. Local paper picked up on the afternoon gap on Saturday! who do we think we are getting?
  8. Changing the subject, looking through the food options on the app. I recently saw an article about Glastonbury asking there food vendors to do a £6 meal deal. I don’t know the exact details but they wanted to ensure there was affordable food options. wish victorious would consider this, as this could help a load of people https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/food-and-shopping/
  9. This time last year, they were out. So no idea x
  10. it was fairly early and before the tour. As I remember being surprised the were announced. Then all the comeback tour got announced etc.
  11. This was 2022 when they were playing and the carrier left Portsmouth during their set. I remember it being very busy https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/people/watch-the-moment-royal-navy-carrier-hms-prince-of-wales-passes-southsea-common-during-the-sugababes-set-at-victorious-festival-2022-in-portsmouth-3821928
  12. Do we think they have stages correct? Especially hearing on news about Sugababes at Glastonbury on the news this morning. they are on castle.
  13. Usually about 30/40% of the acoustic stage line up is on the main poster (Well its been that way the last couple of years and then they fill the rest of the line up with the up and coming and unsigned acts. Looks like Acoustic is changing it name to "Under the trees" as an act who was announced yesterday, has said they are playing twice over the weekend and hes on the old acoustic stage
  14. I think you’ll probably miss Razorlight, not only do you have to negotiate the M27, I am assuming, but getting into Portsmouth on a Friday! And recently the traffic in Pompey has been carnage as we had road closures with the eastern road (a main road into Pompey) causing major delays. Hopefully it will all be finished by Victorious but one of the three routes into Pompey gets shut, it’s chaos. i keep my fingers crossed you make it, but I’m not sure you will x
  15. There is normally 3 main announcements. But they already announced quite a lot already, so everyone 50/50 whether we get another announcement. If we do, it wont be very much, or anyone big, as all headliners for Common, Castle, and beats have been announced, afternoon special guest too.
  16. Im a local, so cant say too much on the camping, but I know there is nothing in the form of pubs/clubs that would be open near the campsite (I live about 0.5mile from it) and I think I have seen that they try and keep the campsite fairly quite after a certain time, due to it just being a massive field, split into zones, so your fairly close to families. Your best bet, is to stay near the festival, as there are plenty of pubs and clubs, as the others have said. These are pretty much on the festival doorstep. However you will need to get back to the campsite afterwards, and the festival campsite buses may have stopped. You will need to get a taxi, which will cost £12-£20 or the local bus, which runs 24hrs and is hourly I believe, which will take about 30-45mins and has a bit of a walk to campsite (10-15mins) In the terms of the cost of the campsite. To buy a weekend ticket (No camping) or a weekend ticket with Camping - It costs the same £210 plus fees. So technically your camping is free. But if you use the buses, it is £35 per person per day.
  17. I would of thought they would keep drip feeding info, build the excitement and keep the festival a talking point.......it just feels very forgotten. Victorious has so much potential to be awesome, but it just feels meh! Although a lot of people have said the same about other festivals x
  18. They just keep churning out the old news. They just seems to be no excitement over this years victorious.
  19. Gutted, thought they may of chatted about the festival a little before Announcing the winner. And given some info Although we do know who won and on one of the main stages I suppose so back to waiting I guess
  20. No, although they posted a photo with at studio, so anytime I guessing. It will be mainly about the winning, but hoping for a clue of things to come maybe
  21. Has anyone seen the post of Instagram about them being on Express FM. They are announcing the Road to Victorious Winner, but hoping they may say more.
