  1. Not officially, but the Victorious website still states, its coming back soon (Although its not been updated since 2022) However we know that area will be completed under the Southsea costal scheme in next few months, and they reseeded the area, so it should be ready.
  2. I am hoping so. I don't believe that is the final poster, it generally feels like there should be another 10-20 names on there, compared with the previous year. Last year we had around 28-32 names announnced for each day (Including comedy) and this year the festival grows with welcoming the seaside stage back. Currently its about 22 each day. I dont believe we will get anyone big, unless its a surprise guest like McFly last year, but I do think there some room for some more. Im saying roll on the 3rd announcement
  3. Comments by Andy Marsh Andy Marsh, Lead Booker at Victorious Festival, said: "We’re so pleased to be able to announce another wave of incredible acts for 2024 off the back of our huge headline announcement. This is just the start… we’ve still got hundreds more acts, performances, and activities to announce across the festival that will be the biggest, best value and most epic year yet. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/victorious-festival-2024-more-artists-announced-for-festival-including-sugababes-and-the-kooks-4497005
  4. I was honestly really disappointed this year, but since then, we checked out some of the smaller acts, and will be checking out a few of the new, up and coming bands etc. Local so already got a weekend ticket. Hoping for another smaller final annoucement and some surprise special guests!
  5. Acoustic never has a separate poster, beats do, but often they already got the beats headliners on the main poster.
  6. Last year on the poster was about roughly 30 acts each day including comedy, this year its 20ish. I dont think we get many big acts, but it seems a little light to me
  7. Is it me, or do we think there is going to be a third line up announcement? Feels a little lighter than 2023
  8. Do we think this is a small announcement with a 3rd one to come, or we gonna get the rest of the main acts today?
  9. Just listen to Wave 105 news, only update is Al Murray as final comedy act x
  10. he was right last time he posted about the headliners x
  11. I know that the sea defence work in front of Southsea castle is nearly complete, and they have planted grass around the bandstand (seaside stage) I have added a photo of what someone posted on Facebook of the area. and on the victorious website, it does say Seaside Stage will be back soon.
  12. They probably announce at 6pm Friday now, throw all our guesses out haha!
  13. I think its anyone's guess this year, as they not really followed their usual pattern. But if they do stick to a time, they always would announce around 10am (As I am usually on my tea break at work) I'm going for 10am Wednesday!
  14. Victorious never seem to sell out, you can always buy a ticket, but you can get cheaper tickets via Facebook groups. The actual Victorious pages or a group called Victorious Festival (chat, banter and information) but there are so many scammers on these pages inbetween some genuine sellers. Who have bought early bird and had a change of circumstances or just don’t like the line up. But be very careful. Tickets are released about 2-4weeks before via email. Personally I not heard of people buying via Twickets
  15. Paloma Faith releasing new music, done Victorious before and is in UK that weekend. She could fit a afternoon slot.
  16. Victorious is one of the biggest capacity festivals in the UK, and has so much potential yet, a lot of people never heard of it x
  17. Would be fun if Victorious drop some hints of who they are announcing!
  18. Definitely up for Tom Grennan & Rick Astley being a special guest. Watched Tom on the acoustic stage in 2017 for about 10/15mins, before we headed over to Sterophonics, mainly cos it was easier to get a drink at the bar and take them to the common stage that year. I am hoping we get all 3 days afternoon special guest, the final comedy headliner and the Seaside & Beats & Swing headliners, as well as a few more names.
  19. Let’s hope we have some good afternoon special guests and headliners on the Beats, Seaside (should be back this year) and acoustic. So far not very impressed, so staying hopeful! Tom Grennan has played Victorious twice before, once on acoustic, and once on castle.
  20. Really interested who will be the afternoon special guests. They got to go with Rick Astley as that would be a good laugh in the sunshine (Fingers Crossed)
  21. So who are we all hoping for in the next round of announcements? Or who do we think may be announced? I would like to see the results of the survey of who we would like to see at Victorious verses what we get!
  22. Happy New Year everyone! I was at the local panto in Pompey yesterday, and they announced on stage that Shaun Williamson (Barry from East Enders) will be at Victorious. No idea in what capacity.
