Scanning the EPO bands in and out has dramatically reduced the number of people being spun in. I’m not saying that nobody’s doing it but it’s been made ten times more difficult.

The tower was definitely there in 2008, because I went up it - and that was the last time I went to the festival. I can’t remember if it was there the year before. It’s weird to see the Park become such an integral part of the festival, because I spent a lot of time up there in its first year (2007) and some of the acts attracted crowds that barely reached triple figures (though the weather certainly didn’t help).
