Honestly thinking this is what it’ll be.

Only headliner bands confirmed to be doing European fests so far are Green Day (Southside), Biffy Clyro (Rock Am Ring and Southside), Sleep Token (Rock AM Ring) Slipknot (Rock Am Ring and NovaRock), BMTH (Rock Am Ring). Think this is all.

Not sure anyone’s posted about it but Biffy Clyro, Green Day announced for Southside Festival, 20th June in Germany. Biffy Clyro aren’t really my cup of tea but they’re looking a bit more likely every day.

Be curious if download moves away from hardcore this year after a lot of bands dropping out last time, and Code Orange smashing up the stage.

Honestly not sure i’ve heard an underwhelming option this year, headliner wise.

Agreed, think 2026 is probs looking like Blink 182, Ghost and Linkin Park if they don’t show up this year.

Would be bold to bump two bands up in the same year. Could see System doing a one off, maybe Biffy, Motley Crue? Not sure if GNR are still kicking, not too many options come to mind.

So no Slipknot, Linkin Park, or MCR? Any other ideas for the third spot then?

So looking like roughly: Sleep Token / Green Day / Slipknot Maybe Deftones, Avril Lavigne, Korn as subs. Expecting to see Spiritbox, Knocked Loose, Malevolance, Idles and Bad Omens all show up. Would love for Creed, Alice Cooper, Frank Carter and the Sex Pistol to be there as well. Personally, would happily see Korn get their flowers as headline but isn’t seeming likely. A Korn / Deftones co-headline slot would be magic but again, no indication for that to happen. Also, not the sub for it but if Deftones didn’t play Download, them to headline Outbreak would be unreal.

Might have missed by why has everyone written Linkin Park off their predictions ?

Anyone know when lineup might drop?
