Yeah that's one of the main problems I had because I don't think they've ever missed playing the farm when they've had a new album out but I don't know if they'd still be in sub contention or if they could do Other headliner but there's quite a few other reasonable artists to headline as well.

Almost certainly, looking back at the stage predictions thread for this year’s festival from this time last year and seeing names such as: Pyramid subs - Kasabian, Jorja Smith, Aerosmith, Sam Smith, J Hus, Alicia Keys, O-Rod, Stereophonics Other headliners - Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Wolf Alice, Chems Both - Pulp, Doja Cat So there will definitely be some names in the mix we haven’t considered yet!

Think if I had to categorise them at the minute, here’s how I’d see it: Pyramid subs - The XX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Pulp Other headliners - Chase & Status, BICEP, The Prodigy, Nick Cave & TBS, Charli xcx, Wolf Alice, Nine Inch Nails Suitable for either - Biffy Clyro, Jack White, Childish Gambino, Paramore I also saw someone’s clashfinder who suggested the three sub headliners as Megan Thee Stallion/Pet Shop Boys/Nile Rodgers & Chic but I suspect the latter as West Holts headliners as a more suitable option.

Another potential Other headliner in the mix?

Heard previously they might be playing the O2 around the time of the festival but just checked and they are not on the schedule so they’re probably out of the running at the minute.

Yeah I definitely could see a world where they hold off until her next full album for her to be in the headliner contention but I’m sure if they offered this year she would definitely accept. Think Charli is absolutely nailed on at this point and I can definitely see all of those in the mix for a big slot. To be fair, I can see your point about only one of Chappell and Sabrina being booked. I would probably lean toward Chappell right now if only one of them was booked but we’ll have to see!

Exactly like you have sub headliner shouts (Chappell, Sabrina, the XX, Raye etc.), you have your outright Other headliners (Charli, Nick Cave, Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails) then you have those who can easily do both (Jack White, VW, Paramore, Childish Gambino) so you’re spoilt for choice and some will miss out!

Yeah I did throw all the big names I’ve seen considered and tried to make them all stick, trying to fit Paramore in there would have been too much! To be fair, swapping around Jack/VW for Chappell/Sabrina as Pyramid subs probably does make a lot more sense!

Good point about Barry, take him out and put St. Vincent as Sunday Woodsies headliner. Totally forgot Supergrass announced their tour yesterday, definitely Other Stage/daytime Pyramid contention for them.

I still find it very funny how they previewed two songs from OBTN and neither of them were SOF or Use Somebody and were Crawl and Manhattan instead which actually makes the setlist so much better!

Completely forgot about FKA twigs’ new album so I’d put her as a West Holts headliner instead of Peggy and put him sub headlining instead.

It did hurt to do that but I tried to get them in somehow!
