I always imagined this time of year as a bit of a scramble as multiple festivals attempt to bid on/finalise whatever bands are out there for next year, hence why it changes so often. Such as the whole “Maiden & Rammstein” fiasco from last year. Well, I can still hold onto hope that Judas meant MCR and they’re still somehow going to be there 😂

I’m trying to contain my optimism (GD are a top 3 live band for me) but how sure a thing is this?

They are definitely worthy of a headliner slot regardless of how universally loved they are, how many of the headliners this year could sell out Wembley in 5 minutes? 🤔

Part of me is still convinced we get Slipknot, but against those other 2 headliners who even cares.

That Saturday main stage is utterly sublime, sack off Steel Panther and get Beartooth headlining 2nd though.

I doubt they’ll have a new album by next summer as the last was only 2 years ago, but Kill or Be Killed, Won’t Stand Down are We Are F*cking F*cked are definitely download appropriate. Sod off everything else from WOTP and keep the set heavy and they’ll go down fine.

Sounds like whoever it is would be a pleasant surprise, but I’m going all in on Muse. Linkin Park | Muse | either Maiden or Slipknot on Sunday so I can beat the traffic 😛

This is highly debatable, quality of music aside Muse are still one of the most sought after live bands in the world. Plus they’re stadium level which makes them big by definition.
