So let's assume that Green Day and Sleep Token are 100% in, who are we thinking the third band could be? Linkin Park, or another band?

I'm certain that Green Day and Sleep Token will be there, and I definitely think that Linkin Park will be doing a UK festival which will realistically either be Download, R&L or possibly APE

I can see Blink headlining someday but not in the same year as Green Day who seem pretty much nailed on, I think they are too similar to headline in the same year

What about SOAD? They seem to be open to doing one off festival dates every now and then

Green Day are playing festivals in Germany the week after Download. In my eyes this says they are all but confirmed. I'd say we are getting Sleep Token, Green Day and Slipknot

I think Green Day are getting more and more likely, they have announced other international tour dates / festivals for 2025, I can't see why they wouldn't go back to the UK and do a festival which could be Download (or R&L which they have done several times before and could be a better payday).

I think it's either going to be Linkin Park or Foo Fighters at R&L and the one who isn't there will be at Download. I don't have anything to back this up but it's just a feeling
