  1. Yeah, it seems like some folks are going full doom and gloom. Fests like these are huge operations. They're not getting slapped together in reaction to something. PS has been using their social media to promote other tours. They've made the call that's more important than announcing more acts for an event that's already sold out.
  2. Just saw an announcement of a rockabilly fest called Screamin' Festival the same week as PS. Anyone know this fest? It's highlighted by a group called Los Sirex, a Spanish rock band that goes back to 1959. At the risk of sounding like a nonagenarian, I like rockabilly. I'll be keeping an eye out for this fest's schedule to see if I can squeeze something into my week.
  3. I've seen Pavement. I've seen the Jiks. Excited to expand my Malkmus experience.
  4. Saw Chat Pile play tonight. Those guys are awesome.
  5. The Facetiming of a show blows me away. It's irritating to the people around you, and there's just no way it's doing anything for whomever you're sending it to unless you're on the rail.
  6. Just noticed Frost Children on the bill. I'd never heard of them until they opened for fellow St. Louisians Gravity Kills for their reunion show last fall. I was pretty into it. They're not easy to pin down genre-wise, but I'd imagine fans of the also from St. Louis 100 Gecs would enjoy them.
  7. But why not bury him in the full lineup announcement then? How did no one recognize how badly it would play out giving him a solo reveal?
  8. But they didn't need to do it now, yeah? They could have slapped a TBD on there and taken a month to figure it out.
  9. Yeah, that lineup for the most part is kinda beneath NIN to me.
  10. Their current dates end a couple of weeks shy of festival weekend, but Chat Pile's first ever tour of Europe is coming with no dates in Spain at the moment.
  11. Would love for the Bon Iver chatter to have some validity.
