Man Utd also have a bit more depth which is why I see them coming third. I wouldn’t be surprised if Spurs got past Newcastle, at the same time I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t.

I think people forget where we are in the season because of the World Cup. Despise not being convincing Spurs are about where I would expect. They may feel that greater squad depth puts them in a good position to catch Newcastle.

Do Spurs necessarily need to take the handbrake off. It would only take Newcastle or Man Utd form to slightly to take a hit, for Spurs to overtake them the way they are playing now. There is still half a season left.

You could only really do that in the public sector. If you do then who wants the responsibilities that come from the more senior jobs without the pay. Also would just result in talented people just moving to the private sector.

I could see why spurs would be looking to change keeper with Lorie getting on. I am not convinced Pickford is an upgrade on De Gea though.

People always talk about parties splitting, but in our current system there is nowhere for unhappy MPs to go as change uk showed.

I think the premiership could potentially ruin the competition at champions league level, the fact we have had 2 all premiership finals in recent years is worrying. What worries me more is Americans taking over enough teams to get a voting bloc and changing the rules to make it a closed shop.

I fear people will focus on the sportswashing teams so much they could lose sight of the increasing influence of Americans owners who I think could be a far bigger threat to our game.

I’m not convinced it’s much different. The top 3 teams in the national league are the 3 richest.

I think any chart of spending that doesn’t include wages is a flawed representation of spending. I remember one seasons QPR being full of free transfers on huge wages.

I think the people who see it as a left/right issue are generally people in an echo chamber happily being told what to think.

I don’t see it as a right /left issue. I don’t see the SNP as being to the left of labour. I have seen more than one left wing politician articulate concerns about the legislation. I personally really struggle to know what is the best policy in this area. I think too much of the argument is dominated by extremes on either side with the loudest voices.

My sister teaches GCSE /A level maths and a couple of years left school teaching and now does mainly online tutoring, she would never go back.

My concern about expecting the rich to pay for private healthcare is you can be sure future governments will widen the definition of rich when they need additional funds and soon the NHS will be gone. While it isn’t perfect I still believe universal health care paid through tax is the least worst option.

I have watched the last 4 Liverpool games and they have been dreadful. You can understand the odd player being off form, but they all are, particularly the defenders.

I will hopeful get to watch it live again, but getting Wrexham tickets is a nightmare for people who live away and don’t have a season ticket like me!
