I love games like Germany v Costa Rica where a draw is no good for either. No time wasting, 2 teams desperate to score.

While Private Schools goes against everything I believe in. If abolishing them resulted in house prices around the best schools soaring further. While it may make us feel good, ultimately it doesn't help the kids with parents who can't afford to buy the houses. Unfortunately I am not clever enough to know the answer.

People already do pay for higher levels of education due to the increased costs of housing in catchment area of good schools. While I support VAT on private schools, it's important not to generalize the types of parents/children who go there. My friends kid is very intelligent but has behavioral difficulties. During lockdown he did much better due to reduced class sizes. His parents are average earners and have funded it through sacraficing other things they used to do. I also know a child who moved mid term, state schools in area all full up and could only get in the private school.

It could also potentially push house prices up in the catchment areas of the better schools. People forget some of the best state schools are private in another name, as only people with a certain income can afford the housing to attend them.

I was hoping for poland to get within 1 yellow card of Mexico. Score with the last attack, player takes his shirt off for yellow and then the goal disallowed by VAR forcing lots. Now that would have been entertainment!

We can use the technology how we chose. To slow down some tackles makes them look worse than they are. The game is played at normal speed and that's how a tackle should be judged.

I really disagree with these incidents showing them in slow motion, I think it gives a completely false perspective.

Agreed and the reality is there is nothing to be ashamed for a country with 3 million people to rely on a once in a generation player. He managed to get us to the world cup, but couldn't make that extra step and I'm ok with that. In many ways we are fortunate the war in Ukraine split our 2 play off games apart as I'm not confident he would have got through 2 in a few days. Wales are the smallest qualifiers with the weakest squad of the European qualifiers. Getting to this level is a success, we may not be back soon.

Disappointing, but they get out of the groups 2 out of 3 tournaments is nothing to be ashamed of, I spent my childhood dreaming of just getting there. I think after Euro 2016 Wales expectations were too high. If we qualify again we are much more likely to have another WC 22 than Euro 2016. I think some Wales fans have been a bit unfair to Page and the players on social media. I am not sure different selection and tactics would have resulted in different outcomes. I think the best 2 in the group qualified and we would have gone out even if we beat Iran.

The only surprise the world needs is a 4-0 Wales win! In all seriousness it's probably best for the tournament to have the shocks, but the favourites go through. It probably makes for a better knockout stage.

It's funny for all the talk of unpredictability in this world cup. I have a feeling that following the group we will only lose Belgium of the favoured teams. While you may only lose 3 or 4 European teams.

I think it may end up being Spain reserves with the goal difference the way it is, however it's a big ask for Japan to get a win. I suspect Germany will put a few past Costa Rica. Its funny the commentator on 5live called Japan beating Costa Rica a huge shock i think that stretches the definition of huge shock!

If Germany lose it will be a great last round as well. I think Spain and Germany would both take a draw, so will probably end up that way.

Most of the games have had some level of interest. I found the England v USA game dull, but have missed some of the games that had poor reviews. I wonder if the heat is acting as a leveler. Assuming Wales don't go through, I hope Iran join England. Full of respect for how they were willing to risk consequences by protesting, when Wales and England just folded.

Looks like your form has picked up a bit, I had you certs to go down. Even now I look at the bottom 4 and assume the likes of Torquay, Oldham and Sc**thorpe will get it together, but maybe they won't

I think only Moore makes our 2016 team, maybe Davies (2022) is better than 2016, but I think they are pretty similar. A lot of Wales fans are moaning more than they would if we hadn't qualified. I think expectations were too high with this squad. Overall it's a tough group and I think the only one where all teams are top 20 ranked. It's also a disappointing draw to get England, seeing play era I see every week. I wanted Brazil or Argentina!! Many Wales fans saying we drop Bale against England, but I think that's mad. I can easily see Iran and USA drawing as both look like they struggle for end product. However our slim chance of beating England needs us to score and a Bale free kick is one of the most likely ways of doing this

I am amazed they kept a straight face when they announced England had qualified assuming they don't lose by 4 goals to Wales! It was a dull game, but ultimately England playing well against Iran and mediocre today will both have zero impact on how England do in the knockouts. I found it a bit strange USA not going for that free kick in the last minute. From my perspective it was worth the gamble,as they need to beat Iran to qualify if they lose or draw against England.
