  1. Sigrid at 4am on the Hell Stage. Clothes prohibited.
  2. On the other hand, Trent Reznor is a stereotype of an edgelord, but good on him for dabbing down Clyro and the lads.
  3. Pulp in the Park was pretty joyous.
  4. "Coming up next it's The Snuts. But now ladies and gentlemen please welcome: Sigrid"
  5. That's a pity. Seems to me like she'd earned a good slot on El Pointo. Playing the John Peel Tent is like getting relegated to the regional league.
  6. Fair dos. Seem more realistic to me than Leon Bridges, but hey ho.
  7. Someone's got to be above Bonobo though - so why not them?
  8. Could Khruangbin have made the leap?
  9. So. Koffee on El Pointo then. That'll be fun. Presumably v. early doors, second on after the opening crowd-pleaser.
  10. Rings a bell, but tbh I think I just happened to be wandering by when they were on.
  11. It's not unheard of for bands like that to play the Hayes. I saw the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble in the Sonic a few years back.
  12. This one's Album of the Year territory too.
  13. Talking about what happened in 2019 - when plenty of people did just that.
  14. Certainly she needs booked in a slot where she doesn't clash with Ms. Lauryn Hill.
  15. Odd that there's no sign of a tour this year tbh.
  16. Art Garfunkel got dabbed down by Tame Impala on El Pointo when he played the Acoustic in........2016.
  17. Same. Would rather watch things evolve rather than see them switching back.
  18. Reminds me of when those lads played the Hell Stage.
  19. The Monumental Meat Loaf Memorial Meat Market (ft the Jim Steinman Shrine & Juke Joint)
  20. Can see it here during Adele. But you're right about the backdrop not being something you'd want to obscure any more than is unavoidable
  21. I think projections onto El Pointo have already been done. Adele, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran maybe....
  22. Was in there on Monday. No real substantive difference to the previous regime. Sound was fine, but the problem has always been the long bar queues, low roof and shonky sightlines.
  23. Speaking of, the Stones at El Mocambo is finally getting an official release next month. That's some holy grail shit.
