  1. Yeah - that was the other big moment for me. Just looked and she's only played 4 gigs since.
  2. An alternately light-hearted and serious look and musicians being dicks. Today it's: Skrillex!
  3. Again, what else were you expecting? Here's Why, one of her more well known solo tracks which is basically just her, JWL, Ringo and Klaus Voorman jamming. It's an unhinged piece of proto-punk that basically invents Pixies. You dont have to like it, and the less-open minded Lennon fans certainly didn't, but it's bold, avant-garde and, for its time, radical as hell. She did it at the G and it were triffic.
  4. Ira Kaplan is one of the great living guitarists. Whatever one thought of the result, it wasn't the work of amateurs. And YLT not then playing a late night set somewhere else was a bummer.
  5. They did. Cause I saw both them and Yoko.
  6. It's baffling that people were there and....not expecting abrasive art-noise. Not sure what else they thought was going to happen.
  7. Yoko: confusing the straights since 1967
  8. Weeping in ecstasy as the big man delivers a 10 minute long version of Magic Pie.
  9. Though Liam plays better ones.
  10. Edinburgh is still not sold out.
  11. The Other Stage tends to get enormo-crowds during the day rather than later on. The Stranglers, Blondie, Jessie J, Rag'n'Bone Man all swamped the place.
  12. He was scheduled for El Pointo in 2020. Wherever he shows I doubt it'll be nighttime given that - when all said and done - he's an elderly jazz fusion exponent, which wouldn't be an evening concluder for a lot of folk.
  13. It's like Connor Roy's treehouse, except every person who gets past security gets an Infowars branded giant foam finger to wave when Lil Pump hits the stage.
  14. The worst thing about Coachella is that the only bar just serves Miller Lite and is surrounded by an actual moat.
  15. Is second paragraph meant to be a positive or a negative?
  16. While I get that....that's clearly not what happened, so this - whatever it is - has always been the plan.
  17. They're not even out-performing Mumford and Sons.
  18. In an ideal world, sure. As it is they'll have to play with the cards they're dealt. Though what they shouldn't do is rope in some time-servers like Kings of Leon or The Strokes to give an appearance balance and throw the baby out with the bathwater.
