The three headliners seem to have been locked in for a while.
-
Noddy is more garrulous, true. But I'd suspect that - Cum On Feel The Noize and the Xmas song aside - even their number one singles like Skweeze Me, Pleeze Me may have limited crowd recognition.
-
Would wind up like ELO, but even more so.
-
It's the wrong slot for them regardless. Early afternoon on the Friday a la Motorhead or ZZ Top then sure.
-
Billie has a relationship with Stella McCartney.....who's mates with Emily.
-
Tangentially, while the forums were down Noddy Holder said he'd reform the original line up of Slade to play on El Pointo. I've heard worse ideas.
-
Kendrick and Macca both seem relatively nimble i.e. they can do one offs or small numbers of shows without years of pre-planning and U2-style logistics.

Putting my ticket back in the pot on the basis of this news.

I'd say the answer No is relatively uncontroversial. That said I don't personally bother with ear protectors (except for acts like MBV where they're being given out and recommended) and it's been OK... ...so far.

The BBC were only ever playing the censored version before the watershed.
-
I did see the video for the Tom Jones / Cerys Matthews version and.....um....it's not aged particularly well.
-
Doesn't make for particularly interesting forum discussions though.

"Bangers and mash, bangers and mash The longdrop was clogged up with bangers and mash..."

Now the tabloids are going to poke into Kunt's personal history and find things like:
-
Heroic effort from Kunt. Amazing effort that - given his categorically filthy lyrics and shock-porn horror themes - he's not the most disgusting novelty act in the Christmas top 5.
-
What could be more cosy and Christmassy than giving the baleful, pisshole-eyed sack of venom that currently stewards the UK a resolute two fingered salute for Christmas? https://kuntandthegang.bandcamp.com/ https://www-nme-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.nme.com/news/music/ladbaby-hit-out-at-the-kunts-in-festive-chart-battle-3124691 http://borisjohnson.info/

After dropping two belters already this year, here's another another new single:
-
Genuine question.
-
Are we expecting a mix of old and new acts - or largely a rebooking of the 2020 vintage? Who could be a new addition to the line-up? Inspired by Postman Plod handing this haul of goodies over to me:
-
For one reason or another I was looking at the 2019 map and a combination of lockdown, old age and the general passing of time has done for my recollection. Oddities I spotted: - Rabbit Hole switched places with the Bimble Inn and moved halfway down The Park - Glasto Latino in the corner of the West Holts field - Something called No Average Groove - Something called Samula - And did they fix the shape of the Sonic Stage? Are you also now confused by a Glastonbury that you actually attended?
-
Give that it's everywhere at the moment and is now The New Hype That's Dominating Lockdown, here's a genre-specific thread for all things Disco old and new - either Glastonbury-related or otherwise. No opinion on the SG lewis album yet, but here's one to kick us off straight out of Edinburgh
-
Let's have fun now that the smiting system has been turned off.
-
Dua's duo of disco devastators are taking up plenty of threadspace elsewhere, so here's a thread to discuss the only sub headline set guaranteed to mention John Lautner.

If we say this enough and believe in it enough then we can make this happen in 2020. What say you? WHAT SAY YOU?
