Did you go last year? What was it like? I couldn't get in last year, the queue's were huge! It is one of my missions this year, armed with lots of alcohol to keep me company in the queue!

Gay is your sexuality, not your personality. It is not all-encompassing and I dont understand the need to wear it as a label!!

This is NOT targeted at all gay people by any means, and perhaps it's something to do with the liberation once people are able to come out of the closet, but it winds me up! When my friend came out (like we didnt already know!!) his response to EVERYTHING was "forgive me, I'm Gay" , "dont blame me, Im Gay", "I didnt mean it, Im gay", "how would i know, Im gay" etc etc!!

I have no issue with gay people, but i dont understand the need to shout it from the roof top (again, not targeted at everyone). Maybe its because I've never had to hide something/be someone i wasn't because of societies acceptance.

Now im off to hide in a corner while everyone bombards me with abuse!

That's just the point, you wouldn't see a thread entitled "Any heterosexuals going to Glasto?", and I'd expect people to shout it down as an unneccesary thread.

Now if the thread had been asking about a "gay meet" or something similar it would have made sense.

nope. glastonbury really hate gays, think theres some kind of check as you go in, if youre gay you get executed on pyramid stage as some kind of introductory party
