Here's my wish list:

Rook and the Ravens on the main stage, just cos I'd like to see them again!

From years gone by I wish I hadn't missed Seth Lakeman and the Guillemots so if they came back for year 5 that would be good.

My random wishes include Vampire Weekend, The Script, David Gray, The Magic Numbers, Mike Peters, Cerys Matthews, The Thrills, Muse and Robert Plant obviously not all of them - that would be greedy!

Finally, The Pretenders as headliners ~ if enough us ask maybe this wish will come true!!

....SIX PAGES of this wishfull garbage and we still have only 2 Positive Bookings - albeit the

much loved Kismet and Bellowhead.

Still no confirmation of the BIG TWO - how many times must I type Banco de Gaia and Kula Shaker

and hope my spelling's correct?

Imagine a play off of Govinda with the Turbanned Twins on one side and Crispian Mills on the other side, blowing their headgear off with the 'proper' version..........where's Harry Hill when you need him!

Actually, I just realised that Wychwood is the only one of my festivals to have confirmed ANYONE to date.

Ctrl/Alt/Delete.................sincere apologies to young 'Wychwood Office'

I'm sure they're doing what all festival organisers are doing at this time of year, talking to agents, trying to get artists to confirm availability, trying to get agents to accept fees can't keep rising faster than inflation etc.

It's always a bit of a jigsaw with many agents / artists wanting to assemble tours before they'll confirm your own one-off festival date.

And it's not helped when artists / agents don't seem to realise there's a difficult economic situation out there... if they keep demanding ever higher fees that impacts onto ever higher ticket prices and festival organisers are already well aware that their audiences can't and won't accept increases way above the inflation rate next year.

Wychwood always deliver a great line-up so have a little patience. Please!

...no, I somehow think Mr.Seasick will STILL be doing our Festival Circuit next year, and The Culture Show, and Jools Holland, and Paul (autocue) O'Grady, and The Breakfast Show...and...and...and...

Ace bloke though, only ever saw him at EOTR, although he SEEMED to feature in every festival programme I read!
