    • Glastonbury Festival provides excellent facilities for people with recognised accessible needs, including a complimentary Personal Assistant (PA) ticket for those who couldnā€™t attend the festival without the support of someone else. However they are unable to offer these facilities to temporary injuries - this includes broken bones, dodgy knees, bad backs and pregnancy etcā€¦.Ā  Ā  Anyone wanting to use any of the Accessible Facilities must have a valid Nimbus Access Card which costs Ā£15 for 3 years membership. This is valid for many other venues and attractions. If you don't want to shell out for a Nimbus Card there is a Digital Glastonbury Pass which is free. Without either of these your application can't be processed, even for car parking. Click here forĀ  the application forms and to register to use the Accessible FacilitiesĀ  Ā  I do highly recommend getting the Nimbus Access Card. My PA has accompanied me to many venues for free or with a modest booking fee.Ā  Ā  There is a dedicated campsite called Spring Ground near the Woodsies Main (John Peel) Stage. Apply to use the Accessible Facilities as soon as you get tickets and the Accessible Team will send you the application form when it becomes available, this is usually in the New Year.Ā  Ā  If you are taking a live in vehicle you can apply to pitch in Willow Ground, this is opposite Spring Ground. You will need to provide medical evidence as to why you are unable to camp should you need to take a live in vehicle. Pitches are subject to space so as above apply as soon as possible if you are fortunate in getting tickets.Ā  Ā  There is also E21 Forward Campervan Site, as long as you can manage a rather steep hill jokingly named ā€œThe Hill of Deathā€. This is just outside Gate C. You need to have purchased an East Campervan Pass to pitch here and also have a Nimbus Card/Glastonbury Pass to apply. These passes are usually sold a few weeks after the main ticket sale. As with Willow Ground will also need to provide medical evidence as to why you are unable to camp if you need to take a live in vehicle. Both Willow Ground and E21 Forward Campervan can only provide space for campervan and caravans under 8 metres in length, if over you will have to go in the Bath & West Showground site. Ā  There is lots of information on the Glastonbury Festival Website, and if you are trying for tickets I suggest you read this prior to buying a ticket. For example, if you buy a coach ticket, both you and your PA (If applicable) must take the coach. You also need to book a seat for your PA at the same time as booking your Combined Coach and Festival ticket. This also applies to any children aged 12 and under including babies in your group. Also remember you canā€™t buy a Campervan Pass if you have a coach ticket. Ā  When buying tickets, if in any doubt (for example you don't have Nimbus application approval yet) buy a ticket for your PA. This will be refunded less the cancellation fee if your PA application is successful, as long as it's cancelled by the deadline which is usually in May. Ā  The new system of using Nimbus to process all accessible customers' medical evidence was introduced for this year's festival and is a lot stricter than in previous years. A GPā€™s letter is no longer accepted as evidence. Ā  If you need to use any of the Accessible Facilities. I recommend that you read the sections relevant to you in the link below.Ā  Ā  This is broken down into different sections and coversĀ  Access Ticket InformationĀ  Ticket Information ContinuedĀ  Combined Coach TicketsĀ  Registering for Access FacilitiesĀ  Ā Personal Assistant (PA)Ā  Accessible CampsiteĀ  Campervan & Caravan SpacesĀ  Sensory Calm Space Deaf CustomersĀ  Onsite Access FacilitiesĀ  Site Layout and DistancesĀ  Access MapĀ  Wheelchair HireĀ  Temporary Impairments Ā Ā Blind/Visually Impaired CustomersĀ  BSL Version for Blind/Visually Impaired CustomersĀ  Travel & Arrival Ā  Accessibility for Crew, Artists & Volunteers. Ā  Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. I have been using the Accessible Facilities since 2011. Always in our caravan in either E21 and Spring Ground. I have also volunteered with Oxfam in 2022 and worked in the Spring Ground Accessible Arrivals Marquee. šŸ˜Š Ā  Ā  Ā
    • Iā€™m no expert but there isnā€™t any apparent advantage in being really early, but Iā€™m not taking the risk of last minute, so Iā€™m going to try at 8:30 or so on SundayĀ
    • I struggle to understand why, once the bills are paid and the bank is full, you wouldnā€™t want 100k fans in the pyramid field singing your hits back to you. Iā€™d do it for free (if I was her)Ā
    • To let you know, for me it was one of the best concerts I have been to in my life and that is even though it was at the 02!Ā  Just annoyed I wasn't standing.Ā
