darrenbha
I think its appalling that they've even considered sending that letter, some of these grounds lack atmosphere as it is and i would've thought in the position you're in you need the ground as noisy as possible

darrenbha
I've never got over the rejection of my managerial skills when faced with that tough choice between myself and bryan robson (still framed the rejection letter though)

darrenbha
Well, safely back from Manchester and hearing properly about the goals that Chazeboy has purchased for this. I believe it was hombrederayo who offered to purchase some pitch markers but we decided we may draw sufficient people to watch that the sidelines would become marked out anyway, the positioning of the pitch in the pyramid field was also discussed but someone else probably remembers better than myself what was decided, its all somewhat a blur. hogga
I had a feeling the meet would be like that. A lot discussed but not much remembered. Glad you had a good time though.

hogga
All the way down on page 7. I think you could be right about them running scared.
The Nal
No running scared! NEVER!! Although I am worried that we only seem to have inflatable goals and a spiderman ball. I cant help but feel this game may appear on the day, as if it was organised by Boris Johnson. Can we get proper goals and a ball, pitch marked out somewhat etc? The Nal
it not inflatable goals or ball, its metal goals and the ball although not leather, has the bobblyness of say a basketball, but football size, i am going to get a leather one from Tesco, and Hombre has said he will be getting the pitchmarkers, all is in hand, we had a AGM at the manchester meet, and it seems like we are all singing from the samehymn sheet football chant. As for running scarred, nah im humbled to be playing such a glorious nation, i will be sending you a expensive bottle of wine for your tent at glasto (and any other mind games that i can think of;)) edit the goals
Chazeboy
they are 4ft wide by 6ft high, unfortunatley i dont have a huge garden, thatd be ace big overgrown toadstool, and the like but i think they will do the trick, it was only really for a kick around anyway Edited March 11, 2009 by Chazeboy

Chazeboy
Id love if we marked out a big proper pitch with cones or whatever, had goals (maybe just sticks painted white?), 11 a side, ref etc. Easy to organise. Loads of people would watch the match do, especially if it was sunny!
