( not at home so will be brief) Just got back - everyone is okay, apart from a few ( in the light of things - minor injuries) . mood on site is v positive and the festival spirit is maintained.

The stage was a saddle span job - what is though tto be a small twister ran through the site and hit the stage, which then went over. We were in Malinkeys next to it ( top was ripped off Malinkeys). I don't think anyone could have predicted the weather or consequences. The team at BT are working v hard to keep it all going and doing a sterling job - hat s off to them.

Otherwise we had a blinder and its a great wee festival

Anybody know if Goldblade and Neville Staple will be able to play tonight? We had to come home this morning as tent was flooded(too drunk to drive last night) and all clothes wet for today, didnt think there was any chance of the main bands playing. Fancy going back tonight to see the main two bands I wanted to see over the weekend.

The Saw Doctors managed to do an acoustic set in the pub surrounded by a load of people shouting out songs for them to sing. Fantastic it was.

We have just returned from the festival and we travelled to the festival to watch the band SUBGIANT.We were at the front of the stage watching SG setting up there equipment at about 7.45pm.As soon as they had set up and were about to start playing VERY heavy winds and driving rain & hailstones seemed to just build up from nowhere and next thing I saw A portaloo go flying, people were screaming and the the roof of the main stage collapsed...God!!!

We thought someone must be dead??? We saw SG trying to cover and protect there electronic equipment and we saw there own crew rush on to help them & others!!!...They were quickly and safely helping to clear the stage of people & all there electronic equipment which was getting soaked. Before you knew it the entire stage area was sealed off with police tape. There were fire engines ambulances and even a police helicopter! It was chaos really and as far as I could tell a lot of people were in shock!Aside from the stage being destroyed many other people had tents/gazebos etc WIPED OUT if they were in the tornados path.

Sadly we didnt get to see SUBGIANT play but they are playing loads of festivals this year (& Glastonbury :( ) so we will get to see them soon I'm sure.

Thank god that no one has died or been very seriously injured!!

It was a beautiful festival but you cant do anything about mother natures force!

Just back, too tired to write much now but we had a great time despite the tornado! There were a load of us in Paul and Rollergirls tent when it ripped it's havoc through the campsite and arena.

Efest camp was as spectacular as ever.....Thanks for making the weekend everyone.

Gutted to have missed the bands I most wanted to see (Saw Doctors, we never knew they were on in the beer tent :( and Neville)

We will be back next year!

Just to mirror what everyone else has said......it was a really unfortunate incident which thankfully we didn't witness although we did have to have help to save the tent as the winds swirled round the campsite.

A big shout to the BT crew who could never have predicted or prevented this and who worked incredibly hard to keep the festival alive.......well done guys

What have i learned from this weekend??

1. I dislike tornados.......A LOT B)

2. BT is still one of my favourite festivals ever :)

3. Efesters rule!!! :)

See you all next year :( ! :( !

Hi everyone. I got back this afternoon as was my original plan. What a lovely little festival marred by some freak waether. I have to say that the dance tent was unbelievably impressive. William introduced me to Phil and Lisa who were responsible for organising the tent and they did an amazing job - Glade likes to boast that its Origin stage provides one of the best psy trance experiences in the Uk - well this was easily on a par with Origin - -the only thing missing was the six stack sound field!. I thought the visuals and presentation blew Origin away and I'm sure those that attended mainly for the dance acts were not disappointed. In case you were wondering I was in the beer tent enjoying a sit down on a comfy chair when the mini tornado hit. When I walked out and saw the main stage wrecked it was quite shocking to say the least - there was damage to light structures and fencing all over the site too. Full credit to the team running the show for not giving up. I think everyone there really felt for them because everything was going really well and the vibe was top notch. Here's to 2010!!

Well that was a bit mental wasn't it?!! For those of you who don't know I'm Sally who was supposed to be the head steward only this year but due to a series of events ended up on tele!

I had always planned to come home on sunday as I had to work today but also on Saturday I thought about coming home because I felt so rough with my chest and throat infection, but guess what it's 10 times worse now after standing in the rain so much.

As people have said there was nothing we could have done to predict it happening but what amazes me is that the way our crew just did what was needed quickly and calmly to get the emergency services there and dealing with people. As ever the festival crowd were amazing at helping out and following orders from festival staff so from the bottom of my heart thank you, you made it so much easier for us to contain. We only had one negative incident where a member of a band punched a medic who was preventing them getting onto the stage until we were sure that all power had been cut! That is absolutely disgraceful and I'm not going to name the band as it wasn't all of them.

Reading reviews and comments online is making me laugh, smile and cry (I've done a lot of that since I got home) so just to clarify

Things which are not true:

No one died (Sky News are so wrong!)

The air ambulance did not take anyone to hospital

The scene was chaos - it wasn't all emergency services have commented how well controlled it had been

The stage did not Blow away at all, the top came off it.

Thing which are true

The police helicoper came and landed in the field across the road in case it was needed, we had heard that people were trapped so their specialised equipment would have helped.

Those injured were released from hospital yesterday morning and those who wanted to were brought back to site.

The weather tried, but it didn't finish us off. We were fully prepared to get the main stage back up and running but the HSE investigation is going to take a few days.

We will be back next year most definitely

You lot are just fantastic and our reason for doing it all.

Thanks again Love and Beards

Wow this wasnt what I was expecting to read as such - I had a busy weekend but was wishing I was at Bearded instead so thought I would have a look too see how it all went? and what I had missed out on! I knew the weather wasnt going to be too clever but who could have predicted that to happen - But as said at least no major accidents and even more so it all got taken care of and the festival spirit went on - Great News!

Just got back about an hour ago, glad to have had a shower and a cuppa. I had an absolutely fantastic time. I even tried Haggis which was lovely! All the people there were awesome which soon took the edge off of the weather. I'd always wanted to see a tornado, I would rather have not been inside of it in a crowded place though! Now I best put my washing in, everything is caked in mud, my car especially B)

Im onsite helping the mass clean up. I cant state how gutted I am and I am feeling terrible. I am exhausted, very emotional and feeling very fed up. We are facing huge costs relating to this problem which more than likely will see the festival off.

Apologies to everyone who came who wanted to see the artists you paid for.

See you soon, in hopefully a more happier times.
