Fluter
Stereophonics headlined in 2002 didn't they? I can't understand how they still get so high on the line up, when the likes of OCS and Tavis get lunchtime slots in the JJB. They must be cheap... Onto 2009; Coldplay, Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, Keane, Cribs, Fatboy Slim, Faithless, and Embrace please!!!

staffsknot
Can't go wrong with Sat Green Day (headliner), Oasis (they'd never support but it'd be nice), The Hoosiers, Newton Faulkner, The Feeling (great live), Lenny Kravitz (again), Editors, Bloc Party, Amy MacDonald, The Cure, Ocean Colour Scene, QOTSA. Sunday Foo Fighters (headliners), Bon Jovi (really dreaming now), Stereophonics, KT Tunstall, Bryan Adams (I know but he's great live and reason I took up the guitar - summer of '69), Kaiser Chiefs, Blur, James, Madness, Muse, Franz Ferdinand Surprise gig on the Friday night by: Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine for those of us who brave it - relive the '90s Job Done If Kate Nash, Lilly Allen or Amy Winehouse turn up I swear I'll be arrested for attempted murder with a glowstick... geofelgie
Would have to be a mix of stages but my ideal vaguely-feasible (if highly unlikely!!!) Honeyfuzz
Yes wishful thinking.....V will never book original acts (Mew, Sigur Ros et al) again by the looks of the past two years line up. Doubt Sigur Ros would play V anyway, doesnt seem very them.

kookye
Oh yeah...throw the Strokes in there somewhere too...Heard they're doing new stuff start of next year, and what with Agnys Dene dating their guitarist, they'll appeal to the current Topshop Trendies that are going to festivals. And they're awesome!

micawber
Anyone asking for RHCP must have missed their last few outings in the UK. Truly shocking at both Reading 07 and in their own Earls Court gigs. A spent force for now. But if it keeps them off the streets then hey... stephen07
quote. Apparently they've played the V Stage more than any other band - ever! They never headline, always second best, last year to Foos, this to Muse, must've sucked to be Kelly Jones - half the crowd only watching his band to secure a good spot for Muse (well I was, and I did), after he'd spent all that time a couple of years ago slagging off Matt Bellamy..... Stereophonics are OK though.... Well they headlined in 2002, and i for 1 left half way through anougher boring muse set. 2 years and still the same, if i dont see them again it would not bother me. Muse have nothing on the phonics for back cataloge of songs. Matt Bellamy is not all that good a front man , Kelly Jones is proper rock and roll, not fish bowl.
