rhysieg
ok title pretty much speaks for itself, but i really hope bloc party are not at v festival, i cannot bear them!!! also snow patrol best not return!!! Technodanceaphobic
If your worrying about what bands might end up playing next year surely you just wait for the line ups? Or is that too simple for you?

Technodanceaphobic
See, now that wasn't so hard was it Oasis are probably the only band who'd really put me off buying a ticket next year.

Faelfain
Greenday! That'd just be awful, especially if they were a big act for the lineup. McFly as well...

rockinthecasbah
Mercury's festival would be absolutely fantastic. Just a shame there is no chance of V booking that lineup. Noticed today that Dido has a new album out this year. Unfortunately she will surely be booked, probably taking up a high main stage slot. Also personally hope Arctic Monkeys don't headline, as I find them pretty dull live. Edited August 27, 2008 by rockinthecasbah

Tarquin
It's funny. I caught my first glimpse of The Tings on TV when they performed on a small stage at Glastonbury(?) and told everybody they'd make it. Now some 18 months or so later 'That's not my Name' does my head in as it's played to death! My tip for the next biggish thing, they played the sessions stage at V this year. The Sugarush Beat Company, Album out 29th September. Check em out on You Tube Edited August 28, 2008 by Tarquin

jamesbduk
Hhmmm. It's suppose this thread illustrates why it's so hard to please everyone... I start reading a list like this one: The kocks The Hoosiers Snore patrol Kaiser cheifs The view The Twang Arctic monkeys Klaxons Hadouken Plain shite T's James Blunt The Cribs the last shadows pupets babyshambles the wombats I find myself agreeing with most of the shite, then he adds The Cribs!!
