Especially in a year that has had so many fab releases from women. This year should have been an easy year for many female headliners. 

foals (other) 2022 mel C (avalon) / fred again (temple) 2023 chems DJ (arcadia) 2023 qotsa (other) 2023 bicep (west holts) 2022 disclosure (other) 2024 justice (west holts) 2024   Foals clear winner for me.   The Mel C / Fred combo was good fun albeit with a bit of queuing inbetween - I had to look at clashfinder to try and figure out what I saw!   Justice did not hit the spot - were great at APE in August though afterwards 🙂

Kasabian are a whole different level of size to Doves to be fair, they are a festival headliner and were doing R&L / Glasto only like 10 years ago!   He played the weekend of glasto this year in Bristol and didn't make it to WF so not sure

I don’t see this being accurate because 1. O-Rod would headline if playing and (related) 2. It’d be all men in the headline and Legends slot which I just don’t see Emily doing when there are strong female artists available and also playing. It would be a massive move away from what she’s said she’s trying to achieve with gender equality in music.
