3 months in the business is not really a short amount of time, but yes, they would have to pull their fingers out. Its more about locking in bands to exclusivity contracts that proves harder the longer you leave it (festival republic are notorious for demanding that their headliners do not headline festivals run by competitors)

So considering your "inside" info who would you expect to headline the festival?

as far as my mates are concerned the news remains the same - Arctics, KOL & Radiohead being chased as headliners.

To the point that they are having to fend off many requests for tickets already from family and friends (ive already asked/begged for my customary x2 weekend passes with backstage access - im such a whore :D )

But i do bow to neils vastly superior network of information and can only surmise that my 'out of date information' relates to the state of the contracts ie their acually signed, rather than a change of act.

I'm wiling to be proved wrong but i got a lot of stuff right last year and this is the 1st of my info this year!!

So we will see

  • 2 weeks later...

i Still think the 'Faith No Mor' reunion will happen, i reckon its just been heavily delayed because they cant agree who will play guitar with the Jim Martin fiasco ( cant believe they havent sortd their shit out after all these years).....but i think they may get a surprise Sunday headlining slot or maybe headlining he 2nd Stage. SO...

Arctic Monkeys

Kings Of Leon

Faith No More
