staggerlee
Really enjoyed Jazz world and the Park this year. The Rabbit hole tent in the park was fantastic. Did anyone else see the Egg play there on the early hours of Monday morning? That was a great gig. jasper in the rye
i seemed to spend alot of time in the avalon area, the avalon cafe served resonably priced, tasty, homemade food, whilst being entertained by wierd and wonderful music and the avalon stage had some good chill out music
Mellowfella
Greenfields at 5am. Even if its pissing down, there is nowhere quite like it.
weefreemen
It used to be the stone circle til sunrise but loved the Park area this time. The Bimble Inn kept me entertained into the wee hours.

darrenbha
Really enjoyed the park this year. Enjoyed what i managed to see of trash city too. But my favourite Glasto place is anywhere watching the sun come up with friends old and new
Alcatraz
Greenfields was pretty lovely this year. i don't really sit down and get involved, more, take a walking siesta. Very soothing Avalon for similar reasons as well Edited September 2, 2008 by Alcatraz

Quinny
Really enjoyed the park area this year, I spent alot of sunday afternoon there and it had a great atmosphere. The BBC introducing stage was canny to stroll by and catch something new. Aside from the Park i love the Dance Village, I don't usually spend loads of time there but i'm often walking through it and the beats coming from all the tents are so hard to refuse! Then there's the circus fields, class for a laugh! The list could go on to be fair.
Pinhead
Good question - can't remember this being asked a lot. Traditionally its always been anything South of the railway (monorail) line, old LV back in 2000 - 2003 etc. Spent a lot of time in the Pussy Parlure last two years during the day, otherwise seem to hand around Jazzworld a lot now. Mr.Tickle
I really enjoyed the Park too, last year it was a bit soulless and empty, in part I guess this was down to the weather, this year though it was buzzing.

Chocscoffer
I love Jazz World, you can't beat sitting on the grass, sun shinning with a cold pint of Brothers in your hand! Other than that I love walking round (and getting treatments) in the healing fields, there is something really peaceful about that place. It's just a shame you can hear the Park in the distance! Chazeboy
to do with the festival, probably the Jazzworld area or the Glade but really i like to sit by my tent, at the top of Hitchin at night and watch the whole festival alive, with lights sounds smells, and the lanterns being put up into the sky, i always think to myself WOW this is the life, this is what its all about, and just soak in the view
Mackem
No doubt in my mind: sitting on the hill outside the acoustic tent with a pint from the next door Real Ale Bar, looking across at the Tipi Fields and the Sacred Space. When the sun's out and there's some laid back twiddly-widdly drifting out of the tent, all seems well with the world. I agree about Jazzworld, too. A good place to meet up and hang out even when there's no band on. And some of my most pleasant memories have been Saturday or Sunday morning in front of the Other Stage, reading the Guardian and Q Daily while the first band on plays to a small but appreciative crowd. Trouble is, all these scenarios only work when it's dry. That's why I hold no truck with people who say the mud shouldn't spoil your enjoyment. It spoils nearly all of my enjoyment. Rufus Gwertigan
I enjoy sitting at top of the hill coming out of Gate C. It really is a good spot, not on;y do you get an amazing view of the whole site, but also the dubious pleasure of watching people struggle. serginhowardinho
Loving this thread! Absolutely loved the view from the back of Pennard's this year. Being at the highest point of Glasto and looking down is awe-inspiring! And once you've hiked to the top you really do deserve to enjoy the view! And Jazz World is just brilliant. Get yourself near Brothers, smash a cider in, grab some quality grub and just enjoy the brilliant atmosphere.
