forums archiving

To keep these forums running sweetly at the busiest times, posts in the various festival forums that are over a few years old are going to be archived.

This means that a number of posts are going to 'disappear' from these forums and the number of posts against a forum will decrease.

The archived posts will reappear at a later date (fairly soon) on a separate set of archive forums. These archive forums will allow these old posts to be viewed and read, but they won't be able to be added to - the archive forums will be read-only.

Ok i was being a bit over zelous there and didnt realise it required a seperate log ing.

Is the Discussions forum archived?

Tried searching back for something, so went to the archive and it's not there.

Also it looks like it only goes back 1 month, is there anyway to check older posts?

Yesterday I did the first part of removing older threads (700 days old or older). All of the threads removed from the festival based forums are available on the forums archive, but the other forums aren't archived.

So there's still all the stuff available where there's been a post in the last 700 days, in all forums.

If you're only seeing a month's worth, it's because you've got your forum options set for just that - when in a forum, go to the bottom of the page and adjust your settings for that forum.
