Whaaaaat? I've been dying for a good Deadpool film. While I understood what they were doing in Wolverine, they really missed out on their opportunity.

I heard they're rebooting Wolverine too.

Another "period drama about a dull subject" you may have missed is "The Remains Of The Day" - watch that if you havent seen it, its sublime. Hopkins best ever performance IMHO.

Awesome performances all round. Particularly from Bale. I'd put it in his top three performances of his career, Placing behind American Psycho and The Machinist.

actually, bar supporting actress, paddy power seems to think it's bloody pointless watching the awards and that they're all engraved already.

Shutter Island last night, liked it a lot, very weird. It felt just a bit too like The Wicker Man though... uncomfortable to watch.

I wasn't keen on Shutter Island, I worked out the plot twist and I was just waiting through out the flick just to get it over with otherwise it would of been great film imo.

I saw human centipede. At the start I thought it would be one of those films so bad they are almost good but it ended up just bad!

Same here. Up until the last line. I'm pretty sure that that's the greatest end-line I've ever come across. It completely changed the preconceptions of madness and was reminiscent of Catch 22 - outstanding.

the twist that he was a patient occurred to me at the start of the film but i dismissed it because it seemed too obvious.

it's interesting that you say he wanted them to believe he was mad so that he could get a lobotomy. i didn't pick up on that at all, i need to watch it again now.

what was the last line? i can't remember.

watched black swan last night, great film, really enjoyed it
