Watched 2 flicks last night...

Princess Bride enjoyable enough, I thought Columbo (RIP) was great in it but he looked weird as they tried to make him look like an old man with bad glasses and white hair dye when he was already an old man.

Beowulf I almost turned it off after 10 mins as it was that horrible Polar Express CGI where all the people have dead faces but kept with it and turned out to be mildly interesting.

Finally got off my arse and watched One flew over the cuckoo's nest the other night on iPlayer, cannot believe I had never got round to watching it. Truly brilliant :)

Recently watched rise of the planet of the apes, which was brilliant and Blitz, which wasn't (some of the worst acting in the history of recorded entertainment).

Can anyone recommend anything current worth watching?

They've started setting up to film World War Z in Glasgow city centre, with it doubling as Philie. It's pretty cool, they've started putting up banners for a museum exhibit at the Philadelphia Philanthropic Association (or something like that), and putting up yellow American style traffic lights. Apparently Cochrane St is packed with Philie police cars and yellow taxis.

Will keep an eye on it :)
