Off the back of this thread I have got the Unlimited thingymajig for Cineworld. A little over £13 a month ain't that shabby for as many films as you want to go see

It's great. I've had one for the last 3 years and have seen basically every cineworld shown film released in that time. Apart from the usual rubbish. along with a dvd collection of about 400 I feel like a film geek.

I got The Thing on Blu-Ray, which is the remasterred version they're showing in cinemas.

It's brilliant, up there with Alien and The Exorcist as my fave horror film.

You can get the box set reasonably cheap these days.

First one - you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch but it's an incredibly deep and powerfull film.

Second one - simply genius, nothing better imo.

Third one - gets kicked around by critics like nothing i've ever seen, but really it's still an enjoyable action thriller gangster type film.

Both District 9 and Inglorious Bastards are awesome movies with pants endings.

Though the bit with the lads's head being torn off was fresh.

I went to go see my 2 youngest daughters yesterday, and I took them to see "(500) Days of Summer". I thought it was excellent and had some good comedic moments that had me laughing out loud. I would heartily recommend this 10/10

Ive heard good things bout it... not the average rom-com etc.

Always thought Zooey Deschanel is one of the most delicious looking actors around. The woman can do no wrong for me. The rekkid with M Ward is a personal fave.

Dorian Gray is pretty good. Colin Firth is rather good in it as well. It is worth a watch

District 9 ... brilliant movie. Didn't have a clue where it was going with the first half hour or so, but it all came together and just had me gripped. Awesome stuff.
