NME (i know, i know) are reporting that the FACES are reforming (minus ronnie laine obv). Wouldn't they be nice nice for Sunday Afternoon? eh? eh?

I saw Rod last time and he was shite - hopefully he can redeem himself if they can get it together.

This was mentioned on Absolute (Virgin) Radio earlier. If its for real I'd say there's a high chance they'd play - I enjoyed Rod's set but the Faces would be a cut above. Bring it on I say.

nope.. I saw Rod at Glasto, an embarrasing affair all round really, and nothing like The Faces. When did you see them?

I don't know. I think both the New York Dolls (what's left of them) and Stiff Little Fingers still have it.

In fact I would watch either of these over any of the headliners suggested so far. Certainly better than Radiohead.

i was really hoping for a Faces tour in 2009, preferably seeing them at Glastonbury (ie- no extra expense)

oh well, will have to make do buying the 5 Guys Walk Into A Bar.... boxset (which i highly recommend, having borrowed it from the library - Ronnie Wood was such an amazing guitarist before becoming an anonymous Rolling Stone)
