I need to save up a bit money before I can get a Chill ticket this year. I hope they don't sell out too quickly. If anyone hears that they are running down, could someone shout in here?

Not sure who else is going, lot's of others who I usually go with are also undecided at this stage. I really do want to go, so potentially up for an eFests camp. Not sure what days everyone else is arriving? Of course I always get anywhere I go as soon as it opens!

Am pulling out of this one and heading to Belladrum that weekend.

Just easier to get to and cheaper, plus was able to cancel my ticket and get the deposit refunded.

Myself and about 15 mates are heading down to the Big Chill this year. Any tips on the best place to camp and park? What are the advantages of the different areas?

The camping has been shaken up a bit this year.

Purple is very popular, but has been out of action for the last two years. (2007 too wet, 2008 Sunrise Celebration). Purple is relatively flat, and very close to the site, it avoids the hill-of-death each day, of which anything to the west of the river is. Purple may be the most lively.

Green used to be Family, but that has now moved to Red Family (which used to be Quiet Camping)! And there is the brand new Blue Farm and Easy Camping, which has Quiet Camping in the North corner. Green could be a nice place to camp this year, avoiding the hill.

Valley camping has a nice walk through the forest each day (along a road and track).

Leisure Society and Rodriguez now confirmed as playing. The line-up is looking excellent so far.

Any news from anyone? Are the acts for Big Chill all mostly announced now?

I'm still unsure where to camp this year, if I do indeed go. I might try Purple, or the new Green area; would be nice to be closer to the site this time around.

I'm hoping theres a surprise or 2 to come yet...... attendance still in the balance for me - haven't been feeling the lineup as much as some, it seems.

It's still in the balance for me as well. I think, without another surprise or two, I might try something different this year.

Preferably as close to the site as possible ?

I'd quite like to avoid camping on a hill!!

If we are arriving Thursday lunchtime/afternoon will that still be ok to get a spot in Purple?

Alas, I have to decide between the Chill and a big gathering in Sweden. Things always clash!
