Predicting She Drew The Gun & The Meffs to play Leftfield - 

The pyramid headliners I've enjoyed most are:   1) Bowie (2000) 2) Blur (2009) 3) Rolling Stones (2013) 4) Paul McCartney (2004) 5) Elton John (2023) 6) U2 (2011) despite the rain 7) Paul McCartney (2022) 8) The Killers (2019) 9) Radiohead (2017) 10) Dua Lipa (2024)   I definitely saw Oasis, Pulp and The Cure in 1995, but I don't remember enjoying any of them that much.   Oasis hadn't yet released What's the Story, so a lot of that was lost on me.   I only knew Common People by Pulp, which itself was incredible, but I do remember being quite bored until they played it.   I knew 6 or 7 hits by The Cure, but it took a lot of waiting around before they played them.   I chose Kula Shaker over Radiohead in 1997, which I probably should regret, but I did really enjoy them!    

Ibbio Sound Machine are popping up on lots of line ups next summer - recon they would be a solid early West Holts selection - im sure they must have played the stage before at some point. 

I'm not surprised, I have spoken to about 40-50 people who usually attend between the ages of 21 and 50 and no one is going next year based on the line up and are looking at alternatives.    A few of the young'uns in my office mentioned they are fans of Travis Scott and Chappell Roan, though none of them are willing to camp or travel to Wetherby from Manchester for one day.    

Feels like Fontains may just have cracked the -  I WONT LISTEN TO ANY NEW MUSIC!!!!!  brigade like Sam Fender has done as-well. I think this kind of stuff boads well for them at Glastonbury.    I could see them getting a big slot next time around.
