gary1979666
Banshee was another one I started but gave up on in S1. The first couple of episodes were really good, then I lost interest.
luckysalt
Watched the pilot/premier of Man in the High Castle, an Amazon Prime original based on the Philip K Dick "what if the Axis had of won" sci-fi novel of the same name. It's excellent and quickly shows-up Under The Dome to be the capsule of shite it really is. Has been "picked up" and the rest of the season will start to show this autumn. Just watched the first MITHC, excellent tv, look forward to the full series
gary1979666
Strangley addicted to the Amazing Race - binged on one series over the weekend and have started downloading another one from Sky. It's truly terrible telly, but I can't stop!

philipsteak
Finished Humans today, brilliant series really and nicely set up for the next season!! I really hope the Synths get to do some serious Human Bashing Shows what Channel 4 can do when they try (and get help from AMC) The actress who played Anita/Mia was superb. The way she was just a little bit off, not quite right, almost but not quite human. Couple of other performances were a bit ropey though. Niska was awful Going to give the Swedish version a go. Sounds like there's quite a few differences
viberunner
Just finished Season 1 of Gomorrah. Bloody hell it's good. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomorrah_(TV_series) Haven't seen the (highly praised/awarded) film but that's on my to-do list now. gary1979666
Anyone else watching Taskmaster on Dave at the moment. It is incredibly funny - recommend it. Each week the same 5 comics (Widdicomb, Skinner, Key, Roisin Conarty and Romesh R...) do tasks set by Greg Davies / Alex Horne and hilarity ensues - it's much better than it sounds! kaosmark2
Most of the way through season 1 of arrow. Enjoying it, but some aspects and characters are very overdone (as is the vast quantity of makeup)
DomDom1984
Onto Season 5 of Parks and Recreation. This show is too easy to binge on.
gary1979666
Onto Season 5 of Parks and Recreation. This show is too easy to binge on. I cant remember which season I'm watching, but Dave are showing a couple of episodes a week. It used to be on BBC4 (i think) late on, then the Beeb ditched it - no idea why, it's really good. I could watch it just for Ron!
jump
Parks & Recs is great but the first season is so tough to watch to the point where I just tell people to start from the second season.
DomDom1984
I enjoyed the first season a lot. Paul Rudd is, yet again, brilliant in it. Nobody beats Ron though.
Winslow Leach
Onto Season 5 of Parks and Recreation. This show is too easy to binge on. I actually think 5 is the weakest (Not including 1. We don't talk about 1) 7 starts patchy but it also has a strong contender for the best episode of the entire show in Leslie & Ron. DomDom1984
I know about the relationship between the two going into season 7 thanks to being an idiot.
FloorFiller
Parks & Recs is great but the first season is so tough to watch to the point where I just tell people to start from the second season. aye i struggled through the first season just so i'd know the general gist of the plot. thank god it was only six episodes long. one of my favourite sitcoms though. so sad that it's over (and, not that it matters to us, but that the last season seemed to get dusted off two episodes at a time on American TV to seemingly get it over with. it deserved better) some of my favourite ever comedy characters in Ron, Tom and Andy. great stuff. only binge watched it a couple of months back but could easily do it all over again now
t8yman
started Gotham on the plane to vegas, have so far got up to about ep7. Its fucking brilliant. the casting is superb, the art direction is sublime. i didnt believe I would enjoy it this much, especially not being a batman fanboy. jump
I do enjoy Gotham but I'm always finding it a bit wonky, it's just sit uncomfortably between not quite camp genre tv and gritty crime show. I'm surprised I quite like Jada Pinkett Smith in it as I normally dislike her and the rest of the Smith family in stuff.
t8yman
she is smoldering in Gotham....
bunique
I need to rewatch Gotham now it's on Netflix. I wanted to love it (because it's got Ryan from The OC in it ) but if didn't blow me away first time round.
bunique
All the early-20 somethings on my Facebook have been babbling on about Pretty Little Liars so I've just started that on Netflix to see what all the fuss is about.

FloorFiller
Finished True Detective season 2 last night. Preferred it to season 1. Come at me. i feel like the ending failed but for the exact opposite reasons that the first seasons ending failed. i enjoyed parts of it but overall i was still left thinking 'what the fuck has just happened!?'. i still don't fully understand what went down throughout the series, or if i'm being honest, who killed Caspere. in due time i think i'll attempt to binge watch it all in an attempt to get a better understanding. the constant five minute long mumbling one on one conversations sure didn't help things! I think I got most of it, but the ludicrously convoluted plot was very much in keeping with the genre it was working in. Series 1 was very much serial killer pulp with a dash of weird fiction, this one was hard boiled noir through to its core. Not even Chandler himself could explain the plot of The Big Sleep to Howard Hawks. I'd agree though that its many flaws were often overcompensations for the flaws of the first series. I personally thought this finale was much truer to the world the show had created and to the arcs of the characters.
