eFestivals
I watch 'Car SOS' now and then. I was watching it last night when they mentioned that the mechanic presenter Fuzz Townsend used to be in Pop Will Eat itself. I've just read his wiki, and he's also been in Bentley Rhythm Ace, The Wonderstuff, and is currently drumming with The Beat. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuzz_Townshend </ pointless but interesting facts >
Winslow Leach
I always suspected An Inspector Calls would be improved if you removed all the 'ambiguous allegory for exploitative and destructive nature of capitalist class systems' stuff and turned it into a Downton Abbey Halloween Special. t8yman
Watching very little telly at the moment, however - me and the missus quite enjoyed "Special Forces - Ultimate Hell Week" in much the same way as we enjoy the apprentice, great to see smart arses coming unstuck. but really enjoying "Hunted" on C4, where people have to evade capture for 28 days. Interesting and fun, in a "terrifying orwellian nightmare" kind of way.

He did some solo stuff as well but really enjoying "Hunted" on C4, where people have to evade capture for 28 days. Interesting and fun, in a "terrifying orwellian nightmare" kind of way. Yeah Hunted was very interesting. That girl who keeps phoning home is quite irritating though. TheGayTent
Up to S3 Ep 6 of OITNB. Whomever plays Morello is superb, and what I've only just realised is I hate the song on the opening credits.
mjsell
Yeah Hunted was very interesting. That girl who keeps phoning home is quite irritating though. Hunted was excellent. I really enjoyed the reaction of the women who were using the buses when they got caught. One was very accepting and the other was furious and tried to run. Looking forward to this weeks episode with the Asian guy. Quote in the trailer from him was something like "two Asian guys getting on buses with backpacks, what could go wrong?" windy_miller
The other great thing about Hunted is that they used Screen Shot by Swans in the trailer https://play.spotify.com/track/2wPJFjghtjN5PBqQOXutiv

metallimuse
Just about to settle down to the last episode of Sons of Anarchy. I don't want it to end...

viberunner
It's a damned shame Sons has gone, I hope a prequel gets made. I'm hearing dire things about Bastard Executioner. Watching The Strain at the moment, the Guillermo del Toro series based on his books. Wow MUCH better than expected. It's basically a modern Dracula, but has a real Resident Evil meets The Walking Dead vibe to it too. About 3/4 though S1, just had an episode at a gas station that was like a Day of the Dead film. Highly recommended.

t8yman
Hunted is ace. Dr Ricky Allen is my hero. I fear his cockiness may be his downfall, but I am rooting for him, and he might just have what it takes.
5co77ie
for those who were shocked by how the Convoy was represented in This Is England - demand an apology from CH4 here. https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/new-age-travellers-deserve-an-apology-from-shane-meadows?source=facebook-share-button&time=1442941551
Spindles
Have all the episodes of This is England aired yet? I was going to watch them all when they had all gone out rather than watching them piecemeal with adverts on 4od. I watched the first 2 episodes of the Heroes reboot this morning. It was one of those shows which dwindled, got silly and then died, but the reboot had me interested, it remains to be seen whether it keeps momentum and becomes something worth watching (much like Fear the Walking dead, which I'm undecided on). whisty
Little Nugget on Sky if you like Blues - Lenny Henry Got the Blues. Some interesting snippets and interviews in Ep1. And they mentioned this album which I'm loving at the minute. Ram John Holder - Black London Blues, as they mention is best known for playing Augustus "Porkpie" Grant in the British television series Desmond's. bunique
We blitzed through Ray Donovan recently - brilliant, Jon Voigt (sp?) is despicable.
st dan
Me and the misses need to start a new comedy series. Seen a lot of the main ones (Modern Family, The Office etc). I've heard good things about both Community and Parks & Recreation ... Can anybody recommend either of the two to help me decide which to watch first. May need to flip a coin! kaosmark2
Never seen parks+ but community is mostly good. Gets shit in the last 2 seasons but it's definitely entertaining before. Edited September 26, 2015 by kaosmark2
DomDom1984
Parks and Recreation is probably the better of the two. Community is worth a look though.

When Community is good, it's very very good, but Parks & Rec is a better watch all the way through. First season is kind of awkward and aimless though, might want to watch the first and last episode then head straight to season 2.

Who would do that? If I'm watching something I would have to watch it all regardless lol.
Spindles
Yeah, everyone slates season 1, consider that just getting yourself a grounding in the characters, then by the time you hit season 2 you are in for lots of fun. A great cast, with Rob Lowe in quite literally the best role he has ever played being just one of the things worth watching, by the end you are going to love the cast. FloorFiller
yeah Parks and Recreation is a fantastic show. as everybody has said, series one isn't the best (although is only six episodes long so fuck it), but everything after is almost flawless - don't think there was ever an series/episode where i thought 'wish this'd end now'. very sad that it's over as for Community, it has it's highs and lows (mostly highs, though). series 1, 2 and 3 are really really great, 4 takes a bit of a dip, and then 5 and 6 are back on track without quite reaching the heights of the first three series. definitely worth a watch. Community has better singular episodes (paintball ones etc) which are stupidly good, whereas Parks is consistently great throughout
