I enjoyed DD season 2 but it just didn't leave much of an impression, aside from the Punisher's role in it. Needed a better villain like Fisk or Kilgrave. pink_triangle
Just finished watching house of cards, amazingly I didn't start untill the beginning of the year. In my view it's an amazing show, great actors, great characters and finished at the right time.

There's rumours of a bunch of series for b list members from the movies for this new Disney streaming service already. The Loki one looks a go. He suits being a bit player stealing scenes so a bit worried how a solo project would work, could be pure camp.
fred quimby
One more Ep on Informer which I have been enjoying Watch Haunting of Hill house which was great for the creepy parts, not so sure on the ending but wondered what else they could actually do. MrZigster
I've been binge watching through Lie To Me. How the fuck did I miss that? It's almost a decade old and I've been a Tim Roth fan since Made in Britain. Slipped past me that one. It's no Cracker, but...
ThomThomDrum
Anyone do Black Mirror Bandersnatch yet? Works really well I think. As a gimmick the interaction may not last long if not supported with good writing but they seemed to have got it down on this occasion Both interesting and fun

Wouldn't want too many shows to be done this way. Although this being Netflix there'll presumably be 50 new shows out within a couple of months, all getting progressively worse. No idea how it works on a technical level, but assume it makes it harder/impossible to pirate, which must be a factor too

It was good that your choice was maintained and resulted in an ad on the video he watched later. Also loved the ability to choose a tune for a scene. A gimmick, yes, but I did get some kicks outs of it all...
DareToDibble
Just finished the Netflix show "You". When my girlfriend first put it on I worried it was going to be a love story but it's so much better than I was expecting. The lead actor is fantastic and personally think the show was brilliant. The main female character's apparent inability to shut her curtains drove me mad (you'll know what I mean if you've seen it) I have just read that a second season has been commissioned already which is good news! Anyone else seen it?

fred quimby
Started watch You yesterday. 2 episodes in and it looks good so far. The curtain thing though. My you have to be a confident person. Surprised there are not more people across the road. Did remind me that just before Christmas was on a bus and drove past someone's place with the curtains open, 50" TV, watching Porn
HeyPorter
Finished You a couple of weeks ago, Dexter-lite. Very enjoyable and easy. Nearly finished Escape At Dannemora which I’m loving. Performance wise it’s perfect, especially Arquette and the unsung Eric Lange. Just started Titans, not what I expected at all. As soon I heard that “fuck Batman” line I was hooked. Also blitzed S2 of Marverlous Mrs Maisel and surprised it’s still very great. And out of pure boredom I rewatched Lost all over again, still equal parts amazing and infuriating. The main character reminded me frequently of Dennis Reynolds from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, in looks and actions. Currently watching The Crown. Didn't think it would be my thing as I'm against the monarchy but thought I'd give it a go. It does give a different insight into the lives of the royals, exacerbated slightly for dramatic effect but shows a side to them I'd never realised. mjsell
Just finished watching Maniac. Highly recommend it - I was fully invested by the end, and the visuals, music and just general feel to the show are incredible. Pretty good going for what was a complete punt of a choice while scrolling through Netflix. 'You' next on the list, seeing as a fair few people have now recommended it. FloorFiller
New series of True Detective is alright so far and more in line with the first series than the mess of a second series but it’s still missing the intensity of the first, and three episodes in just seems to be plodding along. Mahershala Ali in the lead is definitely holding it all together and stopping it from being a total snooze fest. Hoping it’s gonna pick up as the series proceeds.
