I posted about this in the headliners thread, basically the deal is they're getting together to see if they can play together in mind to work on an album and then tour

If they are going to be confortable with that then theres no doubt they'll do as much shows as possible like the Verve did this year, so I think they'll do V and Glasto and TITP to name just three, but they may do Reading over V im not sure

Blur get so much airplay on Absolute/Virgin radio and i'm sure they must have some input into who plays. Apparently they used to when it was V97 and V98 etc.

I imagine Blur would do better at V even if they came back and were crap.

If it was their choice, Im pretty sure they'd choose Reading, Im pretty sure Reading would put more effort (money) into getting them too. Saying that, their doesnt seem to be that many obvious V headliners nest year (esp now Coldplay and Oasis are playing wembley) so who knows.

They're the only band that would get me back to V next year

Nope, they went down a storm, they were ace, although not as good as '99.

Loads of people picked it as one of their top 5 reading performances, when the question was asked on the Reading board
