The flip side of great bands reforming is that usually it's done for the cash. Smashing Pumpkins, RATM, The Verve, The Who, especially Happy Mondays. Blur probably did think about the pennies once or twice, yes.

Well, its not like Albarn needs the cash! Ashcroft's post Verve career has gone somewhat differently.

It will be interesting to see if they do actually make a new record though

More greed over nesscesity id say, isn't a bit of a coincidence that the hateful feud between coxon and albarn is miracously settled at a time reunions are making absolute millions for the bands in question.

Its a blatent money grabber, and v will doubtlessly chuck the money at them, which is why luckysalt is spot on when he says about an 80% chance of them playing.
