Don't underestimate the impact of the heat on our pasty British bodies. Are you camping or getting digs?

Don't take too much with you. Make sure your mates don't get too minced as its bollocks to have to lose a day looking after someone.

This forum is great as all the old threads cover almost anything you'll need to know. xx

cheers, ive been looking around, getting an idea of how differently things are gonna be in comparison to uk fests, and i know not to take much, and im camping, but ill have valuables such as a passport etc, things which cant be replaced, are there locker facilities like they have in uk fests? im assuming yes because theres loads of international visitors?

There's a kind of reception area at the campsite where you can store bags and stuff for the duration of the festival, but not proper lockers.

Cheap as chips. A beer in a bar in town will probably set you back around £1-£1.50. Pack of fags around the same. In the festival, though, it's all done on tokens which you buy when you get in there and are a total ballache. It's something like 250 dinars (about £2.50) for a beer token if my memory serves correctly.

Derm

Haha!

Haha, are you camping or in digs Col?

I did camping at Beni last year and it was none stop intense, but to be honest the camp was always buzzing and i would be gutted if I couldn't go back to that at night/morning.

We planning on driving, so we can tank up on petrol and sit in the AC for the night, with our Lilo wrapped in a sleeping bag! - tip for campers..

Latest news from the Dance arena - as a celebration of the 10th anniversary, the festival will be bringing back some of the most popular DJs to have performed over the years, for exclusive back to back sets. First confirmed acts are:

Carl Cox vs Green Velvet

Sasha vs John Digweed

Richie Hawtin vs Dubfire

More to come (hopefully) soon...
