Alcatraz
CWK a possibility depending on their activities at the time.( I stand by this statement although it is irrelevant) KoL, are close to a guaranteed no Coldplay, already a guaranteed no Edited December 16, 2008 by Alcatraz

steve....
Why kings of leon so little chance. and coldplay almost a certain no? bloc party be awsome! Isent eavis trying to appeal to a younger audience? Not that i got anything against, bruce springsteen or neil young but will any of the youngsters even reconise them? Cheesey
Coldplay ... seem to be placing themselves in the "Too big to play festivals" category, which they aren't yet!
Sipperana
I suffered them in 2005 and would rather chop my old feller off than go through it again. You can keep Bloc Party and KoL as well. Cold War Kids I would go and see
ashcoates
Is anyone? I've always taken that to mean "way too far up our own arses" or "way too greedy" to play festivals. Exhibit A: U2, featuring Bono the ultra-bellend. I liked Coldplay when they were quite shy and not very confident in themselves - their 2002 headline performance at Glasto was a real high point for them I think. Since then Chris Martin seems to have been slowly morphing into a complete dickhead. 2002 was certainly much more entertaining and an order of magnitude less self indulgent than the 2005 performance. Or maybe that was just the rain making me more cynical

Alcatraz
Lol, he said Coldplay not Cold War Kids. I'd say Bloc Party 65% chance. Coldplay 10% chance and KOL 0.1% chance.

steve....
If anybody there doesnt know who bruce Springsteen is then I question their knowledge of music. Like him or not, everyone has heard of him. Surely... I'm only 23 and would take Bruce over any of the above 3 any day.
