al_coholic
I wouldn't mind, as long as she didn't play all the new rubbish, if she played old stuff and scaled down the production, i think it could be quite good

irons
That's the golden oldie slot on the Sunday sorted then. She's like some embarrassing drunk gran at a wedding nowadays, gyrating against those young dancers. I'd let her come on 3 conditions. 1) She doesn't do the gyrating thing. 2) She sticks to her older stuff, everything after mid 90's is garbage. 3) She doesn't headline. Messy
Just... why? Pyramid is the only stage she'd play, and your average glasto fan isn't really a madonna fan from what I know.

MJMilz14
anyone who had the misfortune to see her "headline performance" at Radio 1's Big Weekend will shudder at the thought. In this "headline" set, she played 6 songs... no wait.... mimed 6 songs. 4 of them new ones, 2 of them not new, but hardly old eithier (Hung Up and Music) The Justin Timberlake Hologram performed better than she did! The other thing is, surely her ego would mean she would have to headline, and we already know the headliners?

jamesglast
fingers crossed she wont be playing anywhere at glastonbury, if she did it would probably mean other bands will hardly get a mention.

paulo999
That said, I'd have thought IOW would get her ahead of Glasto unless she seriously wants to play Glasto.
Kyelo
At least Jay-Z doesn't mime, he creats his own music she is just crud. Embarrassing mother(dare I say grandmother)is the only way to describe her, send her to V
eFestivals
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a139912/...lastonbury.html Surely not... seeing as that article also says that "It was announced last month that a newly-reunited Blur would perform at Glastonbury this summer." when nothing like that has happened, I think it's probably nothing more than pagefiller. jollynolly
I know its not big and its not clever, but I would love to see her at Glastonbury, I doubt very much if this would happen money and the complexity of putting the set together. If it does I'm heading for the front
eFestivals
while my first thoughts were that there's nothing to this other than the usual tabloid bullshit, one of the efests contacts has implied that there could well be something to this. If we hear more we'll let you know.
